iNevvitability?! Not likely.
Maybe not inevitable, but not unlikely either.
Cruz is scheming martyr and not personable or like able. Sounds like a preacher and that is not good for politician. His positions and hypocrisy are unacceptable.
I will vote for Ted.
Jeb, Marco....#%£ no!
Either he’s ineluctable or he’s unelectable.
I’ll leave it to you all to decide which.
Welcome to FR.
Who’s your candidate? Trump, right? You sound like a Trump fanboi.
“Cruz is scheming martyr and not personable or like able.”
Looked in the mirror much Reno?
Oh you poor thing .. hate Cruz do ya .. well, well, sorry .. but he’s the very best CONSERVATIVE and I will gladly vote for him for President.
Glad the lefties and crony fascists don’t like Cruz.
got anything else to throw at Cruz?
{”Cruz is scheming martyr and not personable or like able. Sounds like a preacher and that is not good for politician. His positions and hypocrisy are unacceptable”}
If one has read his book, watched his speeches, seen his Senate hearings, read his bio, listened to interviews then he knows that Cruz is a Tea Party conservative who is brilliant, hardworking and principled.
That being said, he may not be as electable as Trump. I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee, but Cruz is an amazing man.
Cruz was at the top of his class at Princeton and at Harvard. He edited the Harvard Law Review (and actually did the hard work of writing reviews, unlike Obama). He was Solicitor General of Texas and personally argued 9 cases before the US Supreme Court. I believe he won 5 of them. He presented 80 briefs to the court as well. Dershowitz said, although he agrees with Cruz on almost nothing, he was one of the brightest legal minds to ever go through Harvard Law.
Right now we have people being brought in from Asia on H1B visas to be trained by American workers who they will replace at half the salary. And Ted Cruz wants to increase the H1Bs by 500%? And he voted for TPA, and isn’t opposing TPP. Ted may be conservative, but he’s no nationalist. And like everyone but Trump, he is beholden to his big money donors.
Welcome to FR.
He also isn’t an isolationist which may come as a disappointment to a great many Trump (former Ron Paul) supporters.
He should have DUAL symbols:
1. the cross of Jesus, since cruz means cross in Spanish.
2. the taco..."Taco Ted" -- just IMAGINE what could be made of THAT nickname.
Get ahead with Taco Ted.
Get outta the red with Taco Ted.
Better bread from taco Ted.
What's in your taco, Ted?
...and so on.
Trump is beholdin’ to his own self-interest.

Well according to the Cruz haters he can’t do ANYTHING, then a sentence later they will whine about how Ted Cruz single handedly shut down the entire US government for months!
That kinda blatant hypocrisy of the Cruz haters always gets a good belly laugh out of me.

I like Cruz because he is one of the few Republicans running who actually UNDERSTANDS the THEORY behind the constitution and WHY it is important.
The Bible clearly describes these people: “A Double-minded man is unstable in all his ways”.
No wonder the liberals are nuts.
Which at this point in his life is making America great again for the sake of his children and grandchildren.
