I just realized that I don't even know who Rush is supporting - I don't listen to radio or TV news - which made me wonder:
Who are the most influential non-mainstream media figures supporting?
So who is (are?) Rush's pick(s)?
Beck's?
Hannity's?
Savage's?
Levin's?
Whoever else that should be on the list?
Rush hasn’t made an endorsement yet. He throws his support to candidates after the primary but I don’t recall him coming out for or against a candidate much.
I don’t think Rush is looking to Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham, or Jeb Bush as his pick, if that helps.
Everyone is supporting Lindsey Graham, I think.
Levin told his listeners some months back he might have ‘several names’. It sounds crazy to me unless he’s part of the split the conservative vote strategy so the Establishment wins.
I have heard too much praise of the GOPe replacement for Jeb as anointed candidate, Marco Rubio, from Levin.
All the hosts need to know we see Marco as another wrong kind of candidate, the new Jeb Bush.
Beck praises Rubio as well as Levin.
Beck is ultimately a go along, get along guy. He’s trashed Jeb but I think we all know Jeb is dead meat.
Beck trashes Trump every day. I don’t support Trump, I support Cruz, but would vote for Trump as the nominee.
All other candidates will never get my support in a general election.
I like Glenn a lot as a recovering drunk like myself.
But I think he’s saying what we want to hear and then turning around to move us towards the Establishment just like Fox News does.
You would be correct. Rush does not throw support toward anybody until they win the nomination.
Then, his support is measured .. depending on the relationship he might have had with them in the past.
I think they are all leaning towards Trump.
**Correction***
All but Beck are leaning towards Trump.
Beck hates Trump.
Then you have become the unenlightened1.
Could I hijack this post and compose an Opus?
Way too early yet.
LOL.... See post #8.
Granted I have not listened to some of them in sometime. I know Beck hates Trump. I know Savage is for Trump. Pretty sure Mark Levin is too.
Where does Rush and Hannity stand?
Savage supports Trump, trying to get a job.
Rush is smart enough to know you stay OUT of the primary fights unless you want to piss off 50% or more of your audience. To read Rush you look at who he speak favorable of.
So far he has said very favorable things about Cruz and Trump, he has defended Carson but not spoken especially favorably about him and been critical of Bush as running “the wrong kind of campaign”. He as much as said that due to the kindness the Bush family has shown him over the years he feels reluctant to criticize Bush.
For the rest, I do not remember him saying much of anything about any of them.
Then they offer their support to the nominee unanimously.
We on FR aren't always so.....supportive of the nominee.
Watch the fireworks here after the eventual nominee is named, it won't be pretty no matter who you support :-)
Yes, but Rush clearly has been at least talking about and lauding Cruz more than any other candidate the last couple weeks.(I listen every day)
“Could I hijack this post and compose an Opus?”
I think opus etiquette dictates that it stand alone. That said.......we haven’t had a good opus pile on in awhile.
I’ll let you know when it’s time.
Michael Savage us for Trump. Most of the others are cool with either Trump or Cruz, but haven’t said anything for certain
Well, I would start by saying,
“I have some serious problems with You People!”
