If you've got a mind to, give Trump two grades (A to E each) for his recent SNL appearance. One grade for how much he helped his candidacy, and one grade for his entertainment value.

see post 39.
Google mr Tanner if you still don’t get it.
Youtube tracking poll:
58% thumbs up
42% thumbs down
Excellent assessment ;-)
He did fine as far as having a sense of humor about it. And it was fine as far as politically...didn’t hurt himself at all and likely helped. But honestly every single sketch, even the ones without him in it, sucked so bad. The only possible exception was the President Trump one.
And that's why I asked that as a question. I thought there might be a joke in there somewhere.

In othr words, Trump just wised some watchers up as to how mediochre SNL really is.
Ok—I watched!
Trump gets an “A” for being a good sport (and having some good timing chops on punchlines).
SNL gets about a “C” for not providing many punch lines.
Larry David IS Bernie Sanders—but the real Bernie would have greeted Trump at the end, on camera wrap up. It was tacky that David LITERALLY opted stage left away from Trump (and his gorgeous daughter Ivanka).
All they said, I really do think Amorosa would be a better Secretary of State than Hillary.
I wish I knew. I set my DirecTV system to record it and instead got an SNL show from Oct 1976. It was broadcast on the local San Diego NBC channel (39) at 10 pm. Did anyone else have the same experience?

“Comedy doesnât really exist on that show anymore.”
After hearing that sentiment for the last 30 years, I don’t understand why anyone thinks it ever did.
youtube thumbs up/thumbs down ⦠might be as accurate as the scientific polls
That would have been funny in the monologue. Lorne Michaels being fired by Trump too would have been funny. Even funnier would have been introducing Janet Yellen to be the new head writer, or something like that.
Lame
My eyes were on Kate McKinnon. She’s a chameleon with a putty face. One moment she’s dowdy and jowly, then she’s absolutely gorgeous. She skewers Clinton.
I like the way they showed Bernie Sanders as a lunatic, and the she-devil as the evil self-centered person that she is. The only real good skit was the Oval Office scene.
Loved the porn stars line about not being in the white house since the 90’s, and the line about “Put it in” (Putin)
Never heard of her either, but she does have one heckuva voice.
But still trying to figure out the reason for the hair and the performance art dancing
Trump said it would be GREAT... so let it be written; so let it be done!
It’s all in the past now and whatever is in the past concerning Trump matters not in the slightest, Believe It Or Not, Strange But True!
