This is just to say, Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live this evening.
The show starts in one hour.

No kidding. DH was watching it, but I was back & forth dealing with dogs, so I only saw bits & pieces.
Except for a select few, SNL has never been all that funny. It got downright awful (lol or maybe it was because I had outgrown pot & stopped) after about 1980.
eegad. I do not know. One of the last times I walked through the den, she was down on the stage & hubby said something about a worm. lol I guess she’s trying to outdo Lady Gaga or something. Pop music is always crap.
We were waaay off tv by that time. I kinda snurled my nose at that, imagining just how cornball & lame it had to have been. Lefties just get completely slap happy over anything Palin. (lol There’s a reason why their spirit animal is an ass.)
I recorded SNL last night and got some 70’s rerun?
They broadcast two shows last night.
One was earlier, that must have been the one you recorded. Check whether you also have the show which followed it.
Where I am they had the first show, then 1/2 hour of something else, then the (new) Saturday Night Live show. The first show was also Saturday Night Live, but a very old one.
Just a warning ahead of time.
The first half of the show was a total (and I think massive) win for the Trump campaign. Every bit positive and even good television.
The second half of the show I thought was terrible. I guess that was NBC trying to dilute the first half of the show. Trump was aok, but the show itself (well let’s just say it wasn’t what I expect from a major network).
The second half is completely bad television, and I thought indicative of what I no longer am interested in watching that show, at all. Terrible.
So just be warned. When the bad part starts, you can stop watching. Seriously.
But the first half was very positive. I thought Trump did very well.
Back in the Stone Age when I used to watch SNL, the first part was usually much better than the later portion. I guess things haven’t aged.
I concur. The skit with president getting reports from his “cabinet” was pretty good.
Ivanka Trump is a true beauty, and accomplished as well. She was in that skit, although I don't know what role she played, because I was mesmerized by her looks.
