Curiosity type question:
Of the contenders left in the race for the Republican nomination, who's your top 5? Some of us have a number one already set in stone but if s/he's not the one selected by the country, which other (wo)men would you like to see or be alright with voting for in the general?

Right you are. I like Cruz as well, but he hasn't said anything much about a wall. Plus Cruz, for some reason, is big on expanding H1B visas. To h*ll with that.

Trump is immune to the MSM, He puts them in their place. The MSM has already accused him of raping his ex wife, so I don’t know what else they can come up with that can damage him.
You see, everyone knows Trump and they have watched him lead a respectable and successful life in public view for decades. If he was really dishonest or hired dishonest people, he would not be so successful. So I really don’t think he has any major skeletons in his closet.
Case in point, Megan Kelly had her staff watching years of apprentice episodes to find one remark that she had to twist into an insult against a woman on the show. It was a lie and if he actually has some nasty skeletons in his closet, why didn’t she find one of those and use it?
Flipping through the TV channels, I saw Inside Edition doing a story on him last night. Inside Edition is a low info gossip show, yet they treated him pretty fairly. You won’t see Cruz or Carson on shows like that being treated respectfully.
I’ll pick the 5 who have stood up for our country fearlessly..

I’m just thankful that we have two good candidates running. Now, if we can just get one of them the nomination, and then the other as VP.
My point is that the general population is not....they'll pay just enough attention to the constant innuendo that Hillary Rodman will get swept in; then back to watching 'Dancing With the Stars' or whatever they really care about.
I will comment on Rubio..
as a featured member of the Gang of 8 he disqualifies himself from the leadership roll for our country..
If he hadn’t betrayed us and he had next run for Gov of Florida in 2018 with a good chance of winning, he would have gained some executive experience and put himself in a good position to be the front runner in 2024.
As it is he is up for reelection for the senate next year, 2016...he just wants a promotion instead...
But he is immature and lacking in integrity and leadership qualities..
