Donald Trump on Tuesday called for lower-tier Republican presidential candidates to drop out the race, and praised former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for exiting the contest early.

Just stating the obvious.
Yes, he is. All these folks under 10% need to drop out. Fiorina is another joke.
Top 4 only : Trump , Carson , Cruz and Rube .
Eventually that will be the race.
The debates will be a (lot) more informative, once things get to that point.
Good posting, showing the two-faced Rubio!
If it’s Trump , Carson or Cruz, will the RNC force Baby Bush 2
to be the VP or withhold funding like they did with Reagan?
I somewhat agree.
Those who cannot maintain at least 5% at this point should drop out and start coalescing around the candidates who have a better chance.
If they haven’t moved the meter after the 3 previous debates, they are not going to move it by hanging on.
“If itâs Trump , Carson or Cruz, will the RNC force Baby Bush 2
to be the VP or withhold funding like they did with Reagan?”
Trump would never agree to run with Rubio . Carson or Cruz - yes .
BUSH DEATH SPIRAL: DOWN TO 4%
If they all wait till day after Iowa, they lose the punch of their endorsement.
No way. At least GHWB looked a bit more vigorous back in the day than Yeb does now. Plus, the Bush name in 1980 wasn't the poison that it is now.
“At least GHWB looked a bit more vigorous back in the day”
I don’t think the looks had anything to do with it and the
Bush was not very well liked for his underhanded attack on Reagan during the debates. Then he went on to go down in
defeat by Clinton and Perot. A total looser and a disaster
as president but a nice pseudo guy.
“Trump would never agree to run with Rubio . Carson or Cruz - yes .”
Trump wouldn’t need to. He could tell the RNC to go spoon a goose and if he did the RNC would probably sneak funds to
Hillary as payback.
I was no fan of George HW Bush and his "voodoo economics" attacks on Reagan. In fact, I rather enjoyed it when he couldn't be located at the convention for the VP slot and was eventually found in a bar. With the bar set so low, Jeb still doesn't reach.
“With the bar set so low, Jeb still doesn’t reach.”
Good point.
Most appropriate.
