Reportedly Jim Harbaugh wants to red shirt him......
To: TangledUpInBlue
Ownership is smoking crack. Their biggest mistake was getting rid of Harbaugh.

And their undermining and eviction of a good coach continues to reap benefits. Jim’s going to win more games than the Niners, probably for years to come.

Today is Kaepernick’s 28th birthday. Not the best present.

Sooo.... the bottom line strategy for the Niners is to get rid of anyone associated with the team that went to the Super Bowl and the Championship?
Winning! /s

Too bad. He’s a talented quarterback.

Here’s hoping they can find a QB that can play without an offensive line.

He’s a good, young QB. Would LOVE to see the Dallas Cowboys trade for him!!

QBs can’t do much if their offensive line sucks.

The NFLers are complaining about all these option spread QBs coming out of college. How about a team vacuuming up a couple of these types of QBs and run that offense. Bring in Kap and RG III once he is cut and who cares if one gets hurt, a major weakness of the spread, if you have some capable backups you could plug in.

This was planned all along. Jed York needed sone one to blame. Kaepernick was put in a position where he couldn’t succeed. Last week the team made the offense play with no running backs. Gabbert is terrible. It’s funny, they kept Alex Smith even though he played terrible for seven years. Kaepernick plays just fine when he’s given half a chance. Two weeks ago against the Ravens his quarterback rating was 128.7. He hasn’t thrown an interception in four games. York did the same thing to Harbaugh, and that ruined the team.

Now Colin Kaepernick ... RGIII before him ...
I fully expect a #BlackQB'sMatter movement to start up soon. And they'll blame Rush Limbaugh somehow ....

QBs canât do much if their offensive line sucks.I completely agree. Look how many times Russell Wilson has been sacked/ put under pressure this season.
The Seahawks offensive line couldn't protect a plate of cookies from a sickly Campfire Girl.

The problem with Kaepernick is, despite his obvious physical talents, he seems to lack the ability to properly read defenses and adjust coming out of the huddle. He tends to lock onto one play and one play only, and it has cost the Niners repeatedly. Frankly, with some adjustment, I think Kap would be effective as a tight end.
I also agree with the other posts... the FO should NEVER have treated Harbaugh in that manner. Jed York and the rest of them seem determined to shitcan that team back to the bad old days of the late 1970s.

starting Blaine Gabbert As a long-suffering Jaguars fan, I can only say they'll regret this decision.
