Islamic Invasion Has Europeans Lamenting Lack Of Right To Bear Arms
Bearing Arms ^ | 10/27/2015 | Bob Owens

A World Net Daily article (is) claiming that fearful Europeans are making a run on their local gun stores in response to the flood of young, mostly male Muslim “refugees” that are flooding into Europe in what many see as nothing more or less than an invasion.

A Czech TV report confirms that long guns – shotguns and rifles – have been flying off the shelves in Austria, and Austrians who haven’t already purchased a gun may not have a chance to get one for some time. They’re all sold out.

And those arming themselves are primarily women.

“If anyone wants to buy a long gun in Austria right now, too bad for them,” the Czech newscaster says. “All of them are currently sold out.”

“We cannot complain about lack of demand,” Stephen Mayer, a gun merchant, told Trioler Tageszeitung.

He claims the stock has been sold out for the last three weeks and that demand is being fueled by fears generated by social changes.

“People want to protect themselves,” Mayer said. “Nonetheless, the most common purchasers of arms are primarily Austrian women.”

They are also buying pepper sprays, which Mayer said are in big demand among those who can’t get a gun.

Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, said he recently returned from a gun rights event in Europe, where he sensed a change in attitude toward firearms.

“I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves,” Gottlieb told WND. “Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels

Unfortunate. I think Lucy brought interesting perspectives from over the pond as they fight the same NWO suffocation and erasure of national sovereignty as we fight over here.

But very intemperate or poorly stated or both, Lucy. If you are reading this, and you intend to go into politics, take this as a lesson on being too free with broad brushes and making universal statements. Most people would respect your position on national sovereignty, outside of the Wolfowitz doctrine neocon types, but then you trashed ALL ‘Yanks’ in your outburst. (And FYI calling all Americans ‘Yank’ is sort of like calling a Scot an Englishman.) You lost an opportunity to make persuasive point. I suggest you listen to some old speeches by Margaret Thatcher, Jeane Kirkpatrick, and Ronald Reagan. Friendly fire is a bad thing. They spoke with precision, and avoided that.

You also stepped into a minefield with regard to how we view our wars. Many of us want OUT of the world policeman role. You find it oppressive to your nation, and I am sure it is. On the other hand, many Americans find the role an unwelcome and costly burden. Not least is the cost in limbs, lives and tranquility.

Our WWII generation is mostly gone now, and we’ve lost them recently. I still grieve over my dad who passed a few years ago. He was a combat medic in WWII. His unit suffered a 90% attrition rate while liberating Europe. His best friend from childhood was in that unfortunate majority, and dad watched while his friend was literally dismembered by German machine gun fire. Dad went career after the war, and volunteered for Vietnam. When he returned he had a lot of nightmares. They were not nightmares about Vietnam. They were nightmares about the war in Europe. They would wake me up in the still hours of the night. I didn’t know what to do, so I did nothing. I failed to tell him how much I loved him for all the he was, and all that he had done.

As the WWII veterans pass away, we now have a quarter century of young people coming back from the Sand Wars, some OKish, some maimed, and some in boxes. And we know - deep in our hearts we know - their services and sacrifices have for the most part been in vain, because to the extent there may have been any policy or objective, it has all been thrown away by the same vile miscreant who threatens your country if Britain dares to leave the EU. We also stand and stare in frustration as that miscreant now mainstreams our military force into assisting existential enemies of America, Europe, and really the entire world.

So the last veterans of the last war we won with decision are passing, and veterans are filing home from the ongoing, eternal Sand Wars which our government has tossed, returning to shabby prospects and undeniable decline. Our nerves are raw from this, and intentionally or inadvertently you scraped our nerves at the wrong time.

I will miss your voice very much. I wish you all success in your endeavors.

CCing Jim Robinson as I believe the decision to zot was his, and I don’t want this post to be construed as criticizing Jim behind his back.

CCIng you xzins, because you are my virtual pastor and because I’m interested in your perspective given your calling.

” This entire muslim “refugee” invasion of Europe is actually attributable to none other than Barack Hussein Obama.

His “Arab Spring”, his decision to pull our troops out of Iraq, and his arming of muslim jihais and mujahadeen
to overthrow Syrian President Assad led to the internecine warring in Iraq and Syria and the exodus of the
Libyans, Syrians and others from the mid-east to Europe.

And now we know that these invaders have been joined by other muslims from all over the mideast who are
taking advantage of the mass border crossings to get into Europe (and the USA) “

100% spot on!

Thanks for the ping, PS144.

My opinion on war is similar to yours if not the same. I don't recall ever interacting with Lucy Hamilton, so I can't really add anything there.

But on the subject of war, this republic is safest when it enters any war with the attitude that we are going to win it and win it as quickly as possible with any overwhelming force necessary. I despise the ‘rotation wars’ that really began with Vietnam, failed again in Iraq, and now confront us in Afghanistan and Syria. By “rotation war”, I mean sending troops on ‘war tours’ and having them stay there for a year, 6 mos, or 3 mos at a time. They then rotate back to the ‘real world’ and live with Big Macs, Shopping Malls, and an entirely disengaged US population. As one Marine said during Iraq, “the Marines are at war; America is at the mall.”

It is immoral to enter any war without the intention to quickly and overwhelmingly win it. Notice I didn't say, “have the intention to win”. If it is important enough to enter war, then it is important enough to turn the entire economy and capacity of the US toward total, unconditional, uncompromising victory with enemies vanquished. Anything less than that is sending an annual allotment of body bags and cannon fodder to satisfy some politician's desire to appear relevant and/or tough.

The same with reprisal strikes. These are less than war, but still, we have an objective, we execute it, we get out.

James Cagney was always one of my favorites, even when
I was a little kid [murfer-mumble] years ago!

Oh, heck! I’m 69 in one month and 9 days. Sigh...

And, my dear Old Sarge, you are a spectacular Viking Kitty.

Well, that’s a shame.

Lucy was on her way to being a solid Freeper. I don’t think she was here but a few months, and she was making plenty of friends. Must have anger issues or something, the way she responded to that one poster.

Shame she went and got herself zotted.

I thought as much. I don't see why that would merit a zot, but that's just me.

Consider that "she" was responding as she did to what she perceived as an insult, the same as anyone else would do. I like people who punch back, don't you?

Personally, I think she's right. For good or otherwise, we've been an occupying force in Europe for far too long.

It was the right thing to do back in the day, at the time, at first, but, after the first half century or so, our spending our time and our money as an occupying force defending Europe meant that they didn't have to.

Doing for others what they can and should do for themselves makes people soft. It changes their perceptions and alters their understanding of cause and effect away from that of reality.

It also makes them resent you for it and justifiably so! So, personally, I think she's right, coming from her point of view, and it's a point of view worth listening to.

The children and grandchildren of those who won the world have turned the world into what it is now, so no matter which side of the political fence you're on, half the time the other side has been in charge, too, and running foreign policy, etc.

That means that as a nation we're all responsible for the good and for the bad and obama has given the next president lots of new material for the 2017 Apology World Tour.

As such, I think we would have done better had we followed George Washington's advice about foreign intervention, especially so when The Wall fell, but instead we've gone our own way and have taken the world with US.

We are not the ones who saved Europe. The evil that they beat down popped back up like a Whack-a-Mole and came after their children. US.

Look around. We have slowly and steadily embraced and are becoming what our parents and grandparents went to war against.

And now, on our watch and under our direction, Europe is being invaded again.

If I were "Lucy" I'd be pissed, too. Wouldn't you be?

I watched this poster’s exchanges over the last few months - trying to ingratiate “her”self with Freepers, but as is the case for trolls, the mask slips and the real agenda ALWAYS pops up.

Europe pulled into America’s wars? As in “evil-stoopid-genius George Dubya BOOOOOOSH” wars?

She was sippin’ from the euroweenie media trough and got caught. Just another Euro-pee-on simultaneously wailing about their self inflicted woes and blaming America for it. They’ll be begging for help again soon, just like the last three go arounds (WWI, WWII, Cold War).
