This is like the 80th thread on this problem.

Please read Jim Robinson's Breaking News post:

Regarding google's malware database and malware warnings on FR

Then turn off your browser's default "Warn about sites deemed dangerous" or whatever language your browser uses.

Yes, i got this just now (and then hit “ignore this warning”):

Reported Attack Page!

This web page at www.freerepublic.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

The reason (https://www.google.com/transparencyreport/safebrowsing/diagnostic/index.html?hl=en-US#url=http://www.freerepublic.com):

Site Safety Details

Some pages on this website send visitors to the following dangerous websites: sssfc.com and aim.org.

More information

Don’t panic. Users sometimes post bad content on websites that are normally safe. Safe Browsing will update the safety status once the webmaster has cleaned up the bad content.

Safety tips. If you want to know more about how to protect yourself from malware, visit the Google Safety Center.

Webmasters. If you are the owner of this website, the article “Webmasters help for hacked sites” explains how to clean up your website and request a review (https://www.google.com/webmasters/hacked/).

Google knows it, owner is not always held responsible – they send warning mails to users at these ids: abuse@, admin@, administrator@, contact@, info@, postmaster@, support@, webmaster@domain.com. So, please be sure to have mails setup for these generic domains. Its even a wise idea to setup catch all email ids - http://www.techpavan.com/2009/06/11/google-remove-reported-attack-site-this-site-may-harm-your-computer/

Danger! Danger Will Robinson.
Anyone see the fistfight between Dan and Hester on Storage Wars last Friday?
Hester sprained his uterus and had to seek medical attention.
