Safari Version 9.0.1 (11601.2.7.2)

This was not an issue under the final beta version of 10.11.1

This is like the 80th thread on this problem.

Please read Jim Robinson's Breaking News post:

Regarding google's malware database and malware warnings on FR

Then turn off your browser's default "Warn about sites deemed dangerous" or whatever language your browser uses.

Danger! Danger Will Robinson.
Anyone see the fistfight between Dan and Hester on Storage Wars last Friday?
Hester sprained his uterus and had to seek medical attention.

One ringy-dingy...

Two ringy-dingy...
(snort, snort!)

A gracious hello. Here at Free Republic, we handle eighty-four billion URL requests a year. Serving everyone from presidents and kings to the scum of the earth. So, we realize that, every so often, you can't get access to the web site, or for no apparent reason you receive a maleware alert from Google, or perhaps you get charged for using a website you didn't even use. We don't care!

Watch this... [ she hits buttons maniacally ] We just lost Peoria.

You see, this website consists of a multi-billion dollar matrix of space age technology that is so sophisticated -- [she hits buttons with her elbows] even we can't handle it. But that's your problem, isn't it? So, the next time you complain about your internet service, why don't you try using two Dixie cups with a string? We don't care. We don't have to.

We're Free Republic.
(snort, snort!)

Running avast!—which I learned about on FR seven years ago—and no warnings.

Since I also run Avira Browser Safety, I went into Chrome and unchecked the “Protect me from bad websites” box. No popups since.
