The politically correct Glamour Magazine has reportedly waived the one defining requirement of candidates for its “Woman of the Year” honor—a double X chromosome—in conferring the title for 2015 on crossdresser Bruce Jenner, a move many women are finding insulting.
The magazine is expected to formally announce its choice of Jenner as woman of the year, along with actress Reese Witherspoon, on November 3.
Criticisms are already piling up from women who find the choice of Jenner to be demeaning, and are falling into two main camps. First, out of all the real women in the world, could Glamour not find one worthy of the title of Woman of the Year without needing to fish in the male pool of boys dressing as girls?
Second, what in the world has Jenner done in the past year—other than get a makeover—that qualifies him as a model for achieving woman around the world?
In a stinging commentary, Nicole Russell writes that by choosing Jenner as woman of the year, “Glamour endorses the idea that men are better at being women than we are.”

Bruce Jenner is nothing in the world but a drag queen. A drag queen. I use to work with one at a hospital. A male nurse during the day. When he went home to his wife he dressed up as a woman, would put on a dress, lipstick, grab his pocket book on the weekends and go to down to shop with his wife. I guess people thought they were sisters. They also had a daughter. So one more time, Jenner is a drag queen. And yes its a mental disorder. Now with the clueless liberals in charge of everything they are treated as well adjusted people and pretending to be a different sex is perfectly normal behavior to braindead liberals. They use to get arrested every day of the week in women’s restrooms. A pervert in a woman’s rest room trying to catch a peak. Now many big department chairs let drag queens go in women’s bathrooms and use women’s dressing rooms. They are now called “transgender”, but once again, they’ve been around forever. Men dressing up like women. Perverts all the same.
This should really boost their circulation numbers and the ad revenue they generate!
I suspect that the people who read Glamour magazine aren't "feminists" in the sense you mean it. The "feminists" are paradoxically both man hating and envious of men. They despise them but their remedy is to try to be more like them, to eliminate the femine in order to emulate the masculine. They don't read fashion magazines.
No, I suspect the readers of fashion magazines are actual normal women, the kind that think feminism is good so long as it means being allowed to still be feminine.
So liberals are always claiming that that Republicans are anti woman and have a war against them. But this? Bruce Jenner as woman of the year? That honors women? Insanity reigns.
Bruce is a 65 y/o man trying to morph into a woman. He doesn’t meet the definition of glamour.
