Eric Hosmer's eighth-inning single scored Lorenzo Cain from first to break a 3-3 tie, then closer Wade Davis slammed the door in the ninth as K.C. beat Toronto to earn a repeat trip to the World Series.
This is a medium volume ping list during the baseball season and a low volume ping list when all life stops in late October.
If you would like to be on the ping list please FReepmail me.
Cry baby Bautista goes from hero to goat.
I’m good.
YES! GO ROYALS!
Maybe 30 years is long enough? Go KC!!
It was a sweet win for the Royals. It should be a good Series. These are two well rounded teams.
Hey, why am I not on your ping list? Baseball isn’t in the DNA of America, it IS the DNA of America.
What's not to like.
Yeah baby! KC!
And it’s a pleasant distraction from BO ruining our country. Consider yourself added. :)
There is something about Mega New York vs Heartland Kansas City that appeals to me. My dog is not in this fight, but I have a buddy who is a Met fan and I have a soft spot for the underdog, small market team. I will withhold rooting for now. Generally an American League fan, hated the Royals when George Brett was there. Love George Brett now. Let the Series begin.
My dad had an Earl Torgeson first baseman’s glove. I remember playing catch with him. MY first grandson was born this year. I have already bought him a glove. It truly is father to son. Outsiders just don’t understand.
Got to say the Toronto fans were impressive.
The team not so much.
KC looks to be the underdogs in the series
There had not better be a single empty seat behind home plate at “Citi Field”.
What did you have against George Brett? I always liked him.
Me too. I loved Brett’s charge out of the dugout when that other NY team’s rat-faced manager tried to challenge his bat and homer.
Congrats Royals
Great season Blue Jays
See? Trudeau was only elected a few days ago and already things in Canada are turning to crrrrrraaaaappp!!
Well, the Jays lost it fair and square.... when you have your speediest runner on third base (who would have tied it up) with no on out in the 9th and you can’t bring him home, you deserve to lose.
Go Mets! !
