First, God protect the people of Mexico from this 205 mph hurricane. Worst ever.
Second, any doubt this will be used by Obama to justify taking in another few hundred thousand 'migrants'?
Never let a crisis go to waste...
I'm old ... and in very poor health ... wish I could travel to the border ..... but the heat would kill me
They are all already here.
Probably we still Haitians from the earthquake years back. I think Obama extended their stay.
Mrs. Tick and I were kicking this idea around this morning.
Personally, I think it’s going to be our “October surprise”. Endless camera views of Haiti-like destruction, major refugee flood into our Southwest (with Obama regime support), and a drumbeat of denigration for the “anti-immigrant” position of Trump and other conservative republicans, portraying them as heartless bastards.
Never waste a crisis, indeed.
knarf, are you in the path of that storm? Stay safe and stay strong. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
This is actually despite the size a more normal track for pacific storms that water Mexico, California and the Western US.
Back in 1849-50 and the Gold Rush sailing ships had to contend with these weather patterns as they were quite strong and it added a lot of time to the journey.
I prayed for rain that would relieve the drought while I was in Texas, and what God revealed was an end to the drought and replenishment for the land across the Western US. My pray and those of others who suffer under the rule of Progressives and yearn for a return to sanity, God has heard us...
Get used to this weather in Cali and Az, it will be this way for the foreseeable future...
Praise God for his Grace and Mercy are sufficient...
Let God Arise...and His Enemies be scattered....
The quake in Haiti was Jan 2010. Ob extended their stay till 2017... We need to shut the borders. We are being flooded with Third World flotsam and jetsam.
I'm a storm troopin', door kicking patriot at heart .... and a dieing old man in body .... it sucks
Protecting people for a few weeks until they are safe to go home is fine with me.
Of course.
Pray for my daughter. She is in the path today just slightly south of Guadalajara on a lake. Am in constant contact with her. She went out for ER supplies this a.m., but I’m afraid she will lose power at a minimum.
Father ... protect this loved daughter, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Living in Texas, I am going to paraphrase Clemenza from the Godfather regarding this rain event:
Take the rain, leave the refugees....
NO! If they need help, we send troops and aid to Mexico and help them their. NOT A SINGLE MEXICAN TO THE U.S. Maybe send our Mexicans to Mexico to help. sart with Jeb Bush and is Mexican-speaking, unassimilated wife.
The Secretary of Homeland Security may designate a foreign country for TPS due to conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country's nationals from returning safely, or in certain circumstances, where the country is unable to handle the return of its nationals adequately. USCIS may grant TPS to eligible nationals of certain countries (or parts of countries), who are already in the United States. Eligible individuals without nationality who last resided in the designated country may also be granted TPS.
The Secretary may designate a country for TPS due to the following temporary conditions in the country:
Ongoing armed conflict (such as civil war)
An environmental disaster (such as earthquake or hurricane), or an epidemic
Other extraordinary and temporary conditions
During a designated period, individuals who are TPS beneficiaries or who are found preliminarily eligible for TPS upon initial review of their cases (prima facie eligible):
Are not removable from the United States
Can obtain an employment authorization document (EAD)
May be granted travel authorization
Once granted TPS, an individual also cannot be detained by DHS on the basis of his or her immigration status in the United States.
TPS is a temporary benefit that does not lead to lawful permanent resident status or give any other immigration status. However, registration for TPS does not prevent you from:
Applying for nonimmigrant status
Filing for adjustment of status based on an immigrant petition
Applying for any other immigration benefit or protection for which you may be eligible
El Salvador and Nicaragua have had TPS status since 2001.
Of course. It sounds like it’s gonna be bad.
Right because there just isn’t enough land in mexico to resettle them
