An Oklahoma girl may make it into the record books after killing a 16-point buck last weekend.
Micalah Millard, who is just 14-years-old, was hunting with her father when she spotted a large buck through cameras set up on her grandfathers ranch.
Hours later, the buck reappeared.
I was surprised that I made the shot and hit him, Micalah told KJRH.
She has killed deer before, but nothing like this. Nobody I know has ever killed anything like this, said Malachi, Micalahs father.
Now, she must wait 60 days to wait for an official score, but the buck will likely rank fourth in the state all-time for a typical Whitetail and first for a female youth.
Micalahs father says he is proud that she hunted the right way, adding that it was a free-range deer without the aid of a feeder or high fence.
That’s a HOG! I’ve been hunting for a long time and haven’t taken anything even close to that.
Nice job, hon. Eat it in good health!
Sweet....huge!!
Very good one. I’ll take a nice, broad-beamed typical set of antlers over a higher scoring, non-typical jumble any day.
Nice rack ...
I’ve never seen a deer with a rack that big in my life. This one must be a “Delk” or something.
Same here- Not crazy about non typicals=
I hope it is a legit free range hunt not some buck off a game farm.
time well tell
The animal activists will be criticizing her for killing the deer. They will name it too.
Oh boy is she in trouble...with the anti gun crowd. What name and story of how this animal survived and gave back to the community will the MSM tell?
atta girl.
I’ve seen something like that, but it was a trophy in a saloon out west that’s probably been there since the 19th century. I thought it was an elk at first it was so dang big.
I feel sorry for the young girl as a flood of cr@p will be coming her way shortly.
sexist pig.
just kidding,
Better looking rack than I’ve seen in a while.
Oink.
I'd bet she can handle it better than most of us might.
Awesome!!!
Excellent!
