I've been informed that I might be in trouble. During a tutorial yesterday, I was asked a question regarding Islam.
I answered it correctly. I elaborated a bit and correctly stated that Mohammed's third wife was 7 when he married her and he was 50. I then correctly stated that under British law this would be considered paedophilia, as our law states that one has to be 16 with parental consent to get married and if a man married a 7 year-old he'd be arrested as a paedophile.
I'm told that I've now offended Mohammed and apparently I might be in trouble.
This is what it's come to. You tell the truth, you're in trouble.
I feel like giving up :(
I think the post was sarcasm
Are you a teacher? We need more info.
Lucy is a Brit.
I know, but the same still applies here or there. We have to fight.
Thanks for sharing. Thanks for looking for counsel in FR. Sorry to hear about “the clouds of earth” and the “heavy chains” (Boethius) you are detecting.
I have detected “the clouds of earth” from homosexual perverts while teaching in San Francisco, from liberal democrats while teaching in State Colleges, and from European perverts who have physical intimacy outside of marriage while attending academic conferences.
A young philosopher such as yourself needs to learn from Boethius who was a good father, husband, mayor and teacher. His best friends became King, then jealous of Boethius, and then violent toward Boethius.
How to stop violence? Humility. Prayer. Fasting. Trust that the Lord uses “clouds of earth” and “heavy chains” to move your attention toward Him who was beaten and chained.
Your individual attention toward Christ will allow Him to use you to heal Europe “without hope and without fear” : quietly. Learn to trust Him.
This is the state of todays society, the “tolerance” of enforced Multiculturism.
Mr. Lucy is away on business. Thank goodness our friend Alan has been staying with us, so I’m not on my own with the children.
Alan has double-bolted all the doors, he says he’s fully prepared to take on all and anything. Alan my hero.
Thank you for your inspiring words. They’ve given me hope and strength :)
“I have detected the clouds of earth from homosexual perverts while teaching in San Francisco, from liberal democrats while teaching in State Colleges, and from European perverts who have physical intimacy outside of marriage while attending academic conferences.”
Oh heck, so you get it too. I think their fantasy is a worldwide purging of Academia, so that it’s just a 100% Leftist profession....people like you and I are in the way of the Brainwashing Agenda.
I hope these Bible verses are an encouragement to you to have courage for continuing to speak the truth. ( you’ve already shown great courage in speaking out and saying the truth). God will be with you! I’ll be praying for you!
Here are a bunch of verses. I wish I was some great scholar but actually I just used Google to pull up a lot of these. :-)
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
(NKJV)
Joshua 1:3-9
I promise you what I promised Moses: Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you ... No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my commandbe strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
1 Chronicles 28:20
David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.

2 Corinthians 4:7-11
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body.
(NIV)
Philippians 1:12-14
Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.
(NIV)
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
(NLT)
Hebrews 13:5-6
For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
(NKJV)
1 Peter 3:13-14
Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.”
(NIV)
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Thanks for the reminder.
I was going to store a more explicit similar photo at another popular site.
I'll have to go to plan B.
The best advice yet.

I've posted the Transcript of the Marcus Lutrell video, part of the series mentioned above
You hate my freedom, my religion and my country. You hate me for speaking my mind.
You try to control me with violence and intimidation.
You think you can muzzle me with fear?
Don't ever confuse me for my politicians or my media.
I am an American, free born and free bred, and I will call you out for who you are: an Islamic extremist who would kill me for my beliefs.
You don't intimidate me. My freedom is more powerful than anything you can possibly do. And I will never, never surrender my rights to your terror.
I will say what I think, worship according to my beliefs, and raise my children how I see fit. And I defend it all with the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
I cower to no one.
Because I am the National Rifle Association of America.
And I am freedom's safest place.
Alas, being on the other side of the pond, Lucy’s right to bear arms has been infringed mightly by Her Majesty’s Government.
I like what I’ve read about the NRA, they seem like good people.
The words are inspiring. We need inspiration, all of us, during this time of crisis for us.
We will at the time, make our stand, we’re not going to let the Traitors win.
Thanks for those verses, they give me much hope and guidance during an experience I never thought I’d ever be placed in.
I will be praying for you- in our human fleshly thinking any of us would be really scared by all this - ( I sure would). but “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” -Phillipians 4:13. I will be praying specifically for wisdom on what to say- and courage to say it . Hugs!
Stay strong Lucy. You are right. May Michaels Sword defend you.
I don’t understand your point.

The rest of us got it just fine. That post was sarcasm. Perhaps a little subtle for you.
