Death Threats for Swede After 'Crazy' Own Goal
The Local ^ | 19 Oct 2015

One of Sweden’s top footballers has revealed he’s been getting death threats after scoring a bizarre own goal in extra time that left his Allsvenskan side Halmstad BK on the brink of relegation.

Halmstad BK were drawing 0-0 against Solna side AIK in the match on Sunday, when defender Mohammed Ali Khan managed to net an own goal in the 93rd minute.

He first appeared to save the goal, before tapping it into the back of the net. The crazy turn of events sent social media users in Sweden into a frenzy, while by Monday morning TV4’s clip of the goal had been viewed more than 17,000 times.

The resulting loss for Halmstad threatened the club's hopes of remaining in the Allsvenskan league, while AIK were able to keep their title hopes alive after their unexpected win.

Khan apologised to fans on Twitter on Sunday, saying he “did not know you could feel this bad” after a mistake on the pitch.

But hours later he turned to social media again to reveal that he was being threatened following the incident.

“Hate me, call me stupid things, lie about me. But (…) to threaten me and my family, that’s the limit!!”.

He later told Sweden’s Aftonbladet newspaper that police had “taken the threats seriously” before posting that officers had turned up at his home to offer extra security.

“You threateners, police car’s waiting outside and guarding my children. Threatening my children’s life is so inhumane and low!” he wrote.

Halmstad’s chairman Tony Karlsson told Swedish broadcaster SVT that the team was supporting Khan and said that the player had spoken to a team councillor following the own goal.

“The only thing we can do is show that we are here. Through gestures and embraces we reveal that we are here,” he said.

Before the news of the death threats against Khan were reported, AIK coach Andreas Alm described how his side was breathing a sigh of relief that it had been given another shot at winning the Allsvenskan league.

“It's a really fine victory away from home in a difficult match,” he said.

AIK are now second in the table behind Norrköping and just above arch rivals IFK Göteborg. The Solna side currently holds the record for being the Swedish club with most seasons in the top flight.

As you didn’t respond, I take it you agree that a man from Lebanon is allowed to be called a Swede, even though he isn’t. Glad we cleared that up Einstein.

See post #18.

It is not " Nazi bloodline crap" just the European way of looking at things.

In the USA we are a nation of movers and it is expected that when you move to a new place and make your home there that your loyalties will transfer as well.

We took it to the point that it was considered quite rude to ask someone what their name was. The preferred way was ask them what they wanted to be called.

That is not the case in Europe where you are expected to keep your loyalties to your "ancestral land" how ever many generations that may have been in the past.

Both ways of looking at thing have a certain amount of merit to them.

Thank-you :)

It’s perfectly normal as a European for me to refer to these things. Thank goodness not ALL Americans are as aggressive and rude as Mr. “Einstein” Carraway.

My bloodline is who I am, just like the rest of my European cousins.

Maybe Nick Carraway is working for the NWO that’s trying to destroy Europe. Where they want each nation to dump our individual heritage and forget who we are....and just be NOTHING and trash our Centuries old bloodlines to become MULTICULTURAL.

Which is why they’ll say German-American, Dutch-American, Irish-American, Italian-American etc.

Well, a lot of conservatives actually don't like what they called "hyphenate-Americans." African-Americans, Irish-American, Gay-Americans, whatever.

Look, I like most of your posts, but that whole bloodline stuff, I find disturbing.

Are you perchance a descendant of Lady Hamilton?

Gay-American, well Gay isn’t a heritage, just like Straight-American wouldn’t be.

People have a right to call themselves Italian-American, German-American etc, it shows that they’re proud of their heritage which is European.

America was built by the European immigrants. The vast majority of Americans personal ancestry is European. To deny that would be utterly ridiculous.

Saying Gay-American is utterly ridiculous.

Thank-you for liking most of my posts.

I can’t help it if you find the bloodline comments disturbing. It’s a European thing, the majority of us are very proud of our bloodlines and we’re not about to deny them. Europeans will fight to preserve our blood, failing to do so would mean we’d naturally die out within the next 50 years. It’s therefore something of paramount importance to us....it’s our very survival.

My family goes back, well we’ve traced it back to 460AD. Think of that, that’s my bloodline, MY blood is the same as my ancestors blood, it’s been passed down for many Centuries, it’s who I am, it’s who my children are. It’s the most important thing, it’s precious, it must be preserved and carried on for many more Centuries.

If I can’t elaborate a bit.

In Britain, 25% of newborns are born to immigrants from Muslim nations and Africans.

In Holland it’s worse, 50% of newborns are born to immigrants from Muslim nations.

Because they breed like it’s going out of fashion, they’re out-breeding us. Thus in 50 years, we ethnic British and ethnic Dutch will for the first time be minorities in countries that historically have been ours for many Centuries....in 100 years we won’t even exist, our bloodlines will have perished, we’ll be history.

So our blood, our bloodlines, are very very important to us.

Okay, it’s good we agree on the obvious, that a Lebanese shouldn’t be called a Swede.

You see this is what the Leftists are doing, in this case diminishing the actual Swedes, almost saying there’s no such thing as an actual Swede, because a Lebanese playing football in Sweden they’re telling people is a Swede also.

I understand why you look at things they way you do. To you who your ancestors were is a big part of your identity.

But for the US ancestry and ancestor hunting is considered an amusing hobby. While we may claim to be "German-American" and go to Oktoberfest or "Polish-American" and go to Pulaski Days or "Dutch-American" and go to Tulip Time in reality we are just enjoying a party.

But we expect that people who come here to surrender their old alliances and embrace the country that has taken them in.

It works more often then not.

To call someone who has nationalized by their old nationality is considered something of an insult.

Just the way we look at it.

That may be true, but Swedes seem to be choosing that.

What? It’s historically accurate that most Americans are of European descent.

Christian European descent.

The first European Colonisation of the Americas can be traced back to the 10th Century when the Norse sailors settled areas which are now Canada.

The extensive European colonisation began obviously in 1492, then carried on etc.

The Spanish, French, German, Swedes, Dutch and British, these nationalities are who most American’s are descended from.

There are roughly 50 million German-Americans, 27 million British-Americans (English, Welsh, Scottish), 11 million French-Americans, 4 million Swedish-Americans, 4 million Dutch-Americans, 759,000 Spanish-Americans, 17 million Italian-Americans, 34 million Irish-Americans....all these Americans are rightly proud of their European heritage.

The largest ethnic group are the German-Americans, their history is extensive and fascinating, they first arrived in the 1670s:

Like the rest of us, the Swedes haven’t been asked by their Government if it’s okay.

The Swedes have burnt down another three “refugee” centres. The Swedes aren’t choosing the invasion, it’s being forced on all of us by Merkel’s mouth and her fellow traitors in Brussels.
