British woman has been found hanged in a Turkish airport after missing her connecting flight to Iraq, it was claimed last night.
Former BBC journalist Jacky Sutton, 50, had travelled from London Heathrow to Istanbuls Ataturk Airport, but is believed to have failed to make it onto her next plane to Erbil.
She then appeared distressed after being told by airline staff that she would have to buy a new ticket - and was later found in the toilets by three Russian passengers, according to local media.
Ms Sutton had arrived in Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK-1986 at about 10pm local time on Saturday night, and was then due to fly to Erbil at about midnight, it was reported.
She is believed to have been the acting Iraq director for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, an organisation that supports journalists and activists in conflict-hit countries.
Ms Sutton is said to have been born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, but recently lived in a £145,000 two-bedroom flat in Acton, west London

Did she trip?
Apparently nothing good happens in foreign airport bathrooms.
The only concern I have with this is how big a mess she made for the poor Turkish cleaning lady.
Sounds like a BJ Clintoon “Arkanside”, actually.
Remember Kevin Ives & Don Henry? Look at this brief list:

(Clinton Body Count).
Another weird thing in the story.......her Flat (Apartment) cost, and where she supposedly grew up!! WEIRD.
She was based in Iraq and doing aggressive reporting on the treatment of women under Islam, particularly with the rise of aggressive ISIS-style Islam in Iraq. The editor/reporter who was her predecessor in the job was blown up in a bombing aimed at him about six months ago because he was reporting on things in the new glorious Islamic State. So she was actually doing a good thing, regardless of where the money came from, and she certainly doesn’t deserve the nasty comments I’ve seen here.
She was obviously murdered. In the rest of the article, it mentioned that her body was found by three “Russian women.” Hmmmm, Russian as in Chechen?
