Their choice was to follow what may be an illegal order or not follow it.
Why would military officers follow an order they think may be illegal?
Why would commanders give such an order?
These are all disturbing developments and points to very significant problems in the military down the ranks.
goodness, this is not really that hard. If you, as the pilot and crew, decide not to drop on a specific target, then pick a different one very close by and drop on it.

One of the statements I heard Doctors without Borders was, “they came back again and again to bomb the facility.” It was not a one bomb drop accidentally. They dropped bombs circled and came back and dropped more.

They probably shouldn’t have been harboring taliban fighters and allowing them to use the hospital as a base to plan attacks and fire on our soldiers and allies. MSF is a extremist socialist parasite with a history of terrorist support, most especially when it comes to Hamas and denouncing Israel.
