Note the added photos provided by the police don't appear to be very clear. Was any attempt made to increase clarity of the images?
It's difficult to believe there weren't any other surveillance/security cameras in the area which could have picked up more information - like, perhaps, pick up at least a partial identity of the license plate on the getaway car?
Most cameras are not clear enough to get plates, especially at night.
They have other video that has not been released as it bears on the investigation, and would not provide any additional assistance in identifying either the car or the perps. I have heard but have not seen myself, that video from inside a local club is on file, but due to lighting and noise is no better than the exterior views.
It’s a criminal investigation, everything doesn’t get released publicly.
So I guess the lesson here is -
it’s easy to stab or shoot someone, hop in a waiting car, and even if there’s crowds around, get away scot-free, as long as it’s at night, because no one will stop or identify you ...

Happens, sadly, at downtown bars in major cities across the recruited plains. This case is just higher profile so people are noticing.
This is a British news report. Are there photographs indicating the perps’ ethnicity?
Police described “two Asian men” and possibly a woman. Because Brits picked up the story, there has been confusion about ‘Asian’, which is used for Middle Easterners and South Asia in the UK. The perps are apparently Oriental in appearance.

Yet, the authorities ask the public to use the useless images for more information? If they really expect good leads, they'd provide the general public more to work with.
Asian does not necessarily mean NON Islamist. Both Indonesia and the Philippines have Islamic fundamentalist terror groups.
Yes it just seems like too much of a coincidence. I would speculate that Spencer was targeted.
