James Bond actor reportedly warned by Sony executives to stop being critical of SPECTRE after he said he would rather 'slash his wrists' than do another Bond film
Daniel Craig has been warned by Sony executives to "shut up" and "stop bashing" James Bond, according to reports, after the star said he would rather "slash his wrists" than do another film.
The actor, who will reprise his role as the British spy for the fourth time in the forthcoming film, told Time Out magazine he wanted to "move on" from the franchise.

The worst James Bond was Woody Allen in Casino Royale. As a comedy, the film was supposed to be funny, but when I saw it in the theater during its initial run, I thought it was unfunny and stupid as well as the worst film I had ever seen up to that time. It's amazing that some of Hollywood's greatest actors such as George Raft and Orson Welles allowed themselves to be persuaded to participate in that debacle.

Screw Craig, he can’t do Bond anyway.

That was a terrible movie. David Niven was one of the greats but he was not so great as Bond. Probably not his fault tho.

I kindly disagree. Roger Moore was the best bond. Good with the ladies. Witty. Serious when called upon.
What fantastic entertainment. Think about all the great scenes. The redneck sheriff. Jaws. The driving gondola. Front wheel drive car chasing the lady down the street.
Connery was decent. Although he was always so serious and quite bland at times. And I couldn’t wait to see it in the theaters back in ‘62.

Interesting that two people could have radically different opinions on something which seems simple.
I thought Moore was the worst Bond and by a good margin. A totally perfumed sissy.
Your opinion is just as valuable as mine, maybe more so.

leave it to an overpriced, overrated “line reader” to bite the hand that feeds him. and think it’s the right thing to do

Craig is a big favorite of the queers. Don’t seem to recall them paying too much attention to Sean Connery.

When they cast him in the role a decade ago, I thought I'd rejoice the moment Craig started making noise about leaving. Now I'm begging he stays on -- NOT because I like him in the role, but because all the "replacements" being floated are worse.
Is it really so much to ask that they find an actor that actually LOOKS and SOUNDS like Bond is supposed to? My money is on Richard Armitage:

Craig is the lamest “Bond” since the guy that did one wearing a kilt. He’ll not be missed by original “Bond” fans.

I’ve never seen a Woody Allen film that was funny. The guy is demented and vastly over rated by the gay, artsy crowd.

He has the right “look” for the part, for starters. He has charm and charisma as well and can act. Right now, I can’t really see many other actors at present who “fit.”
