Thought Justin Wilson was the Cajun Chef. Loved his show.

I remember watching that show with my parents. My dad really liked his show and would often repeat some of the words used by Wilson. I miss those days.

Wilson was known as THE Cajun Chef, Prudhomme was famous for Cajun/blackened cooking. Has his own line of seasonings and was famous for blackened Cajun food in the 70’s and 80’s.

“Thought Justin Wilson was the Cajun Chef. Loved his show.”

I gaw-ran-tee.

Actually Justin Wilson wasn’t a Cajun but he was an excellent mimic of the way they speak and he promoted Cajun cooking.

Prudhomme obviously has a French last name but he could well be descended from Creoles, the original French settlers of New Orleans, as I am. A lot of people think Louisiana French equals Cajun and it just ain’t so. Creole power!
