Monday, the Harvard postdoc joined some like-minded aesthetes for a playful protest outside the Museum of Fine Arts. The rally, which mostly bewildered passersby, was organized by Max Geller, creator of the Instagram account Renoir Sucks at Painting, who wants the MFA to take its Renoirs off the walls and replace them with something better.

Renoir was a great artist with a quality known as talent, a quality obviously missing from blobs splattered on canvas and called “art” by liberal intellectuals.

I am a Freeper, and a strong Conservative with A MFA. All you are doing with your name calling is exposing yourself as a person uneducated in art. Pollock broke new ground in formalism and was one of the artists who brought American art the lead from France.
Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so go enjoy cows and a barn painting.
