Thanks for posting, hope you’re OK!

I’m going to keep a copy of the list but can’t guarantee I’d be able to post.

For what it's worth...

Earth heading for 'mini ice age' in just 15 years, scientists say
UPI ^ | Updated July 11, 2015 | Doug G. Ware

Solar scientists predict that the Earth will enter a "mini ice age" around 2030 due to decreased activity by the sun, which will bring with it frigid cold winters. The last time the Earth experienced a similar situation occurred between 1645 and 1715.

You’re welcome. I actually didn’t expect it to turn into a three-year gig. I hit 60, lost my kitty to cancer, and I feel tired. Thanks for following.

I lost my 16yr old kitty to cancer a few years ago. I still miss him.

My dad lost his 20yr old kitty to cancer a couple years later. He’s fostering rescue cats now. He doesn’t feel like it’s fair to a kitten to adopt one outright (dad’s 80) but the fostering situation works out great for him. Usually older cats that aren’t wild and rambunctious anymore.

Valentine would have been twelve in December. Evidently, I didn’t have her spayed early enough. I feel like I have phantom limb syndrome.

I know how you feel. My feet are cold in the winter now. My late kitty was the alpha in the cat kingdom. He ran the house. We were his servants.

We did get another kitten though. It’s helped. Not replaced a friend mind you, just made another friend.

Once you’ve grieved a bit why not ask a vet or shelter about the fostering situation. My dad has a barn cat (she was always an outdoor cat and she has a heater out there and her own finished ‘room’ and keeps my dad company while he does auto restoration) the vet ‘perma-fostered’ to him 3 or 4 years ago. She’s a sweet cat that needed a home because her owner died unexpectedly in a car wreck.

My kid brother, who isn’t responsible enough to make a long term committment to a pet IMHO, fosters for a local shelter. Lately he’s been keeping a part wolf dog that someone just left out front of the shelter chained to a gate. He may end up keeping this one though as he’s gotten attached.

My daughter just gave me a calico kitty plush. I was totally surprised. What a sweet gesture. She got one for herself, too, about half sized.

My daughter’s cat, Pumpkin, is 15 years old. I don’t think he’s long for this world. Maybe after he passes I can think about another cat.

Thanks much.
