I am increasingly suspicious -- almost convinced -- that these spree-shootings are orchestrated. Let us consider: Only days after Boehner resigns (but stays around through October, able to defy his base) TWO mass shooting events occur within hours of one another: The college in Oregon, and a lesser-publicized Inglis, Florida mass-shooting.
If Obama seemed angry, I suspect it was because the second shooting was so small. Note how the two shootings make a perfect diagonal across the country, symbolically book-ending us with violence.
It's really hard to be the point-man in this controversial subject -- that the mentally-ill and medicated can and are manipulated to commit acts of mass murder for political gain -- but point-man, I shall be. I'll take the catcalls of "conspiracy theorist" and "tin foil hat wearer" and so on. So long as the dialogue is started, I'll take the heat.
It is actually well-known that low-level microwave radiation can cause deleterious mental effects on the brain:

Some of the effects are irritability, sleeplessness, and bad decision-making skills. In the 1970's, the Soviets were bombarding the American embassy in Moscow with these radiations. We objected strongly, and our cover-story was that there were passive eavesdropping devices in the walls... but from the publicly-available research, we know that there was an additional -- perhaps primary -- concern. That concern was that our personnel's mental acuity was lessened by these radiations.
This microwave effect is something we already know is factual. This research is public. What research is there, classified as secret (or beyond) on manipulating and directing a mentally-ill, medicated individual to perform acts suggested by a handler?
The CIA has had decades of experience in 'handling' people, by an agent, to perform actions that are in the Agency's best interests. The experience is out there.
Before anyone tells me that Obama and his minions would never allow innocents to come to harm in order to advance a gun control agenda, I remind you of Fast and Furious (the ATF gun-running scandal). In this scandal, semi-automatic firearms were allowed to end up in the hands of Mexican drug gangs. Many innocent people died, slain by the firearms made available by Fast and Furious. Obama has shown quite clearly, the ability to promote the death of innocent people so that he can get his precious gun bans.

Of course, those rumors that circulated in Europe in the early '40s of huge death camps in Germany were obviously only believable to wacko conspiracy nuts because no government would ever do such an evil thing as build mass murder chambers disguised as showers.
Seriously, Boogieman, Crazieman, Pirate Ragnar, Paladin2, SaxxonWoods, TheDon, Hetty Fauxvert, gdani, and all the rest of you "realists" who know better than to believe tinfoil hat conspiracies of organized wickedness on the part of corrupt governments --
Looks to me like a LOT of you need to bone up on your real-world history.
Because YOU, coop71, being so much more level-headed and realistic, know that corrupt governments engaging in over-the-top murderous conspiracies is only stuff of fiction!

Any one thinking that gubmint could "never" stoop to such lows, and would "never" be able to accomplish such, just needs to look into MKUltra and other such programs. (And keep in mind, this stuff was started decades ago, the advances in pharmacology alone makes those early efforts look like child's play.)

And yet I’d be willing to bet that you fully accept far crazier ideas from the MSM on Fox, Brierbart or whoever fairly regularly and keep right on watching/reading without even batting an eye.
It’s an interesting phenomena. People will immediately go to ‘Tinfoil!” at the drop pf a hat when someone they know (even in the online sense) puts out a radical notion, yet break out the drool cups if Rush or Levin or Hannity or some other Kardashian Reality Radio type/TV hero does the same thing...but they, being in the buisness of ratings/advertizing, somehow “aren’t” doing it for attention.
A&&holes like gdani, however, deserve it when reality smacks them down.
For the longest time, a poster I thought was a loosely-hinged conspiracist -- Askel5 -- was predicting that Gramscian communists would be seizing control of the government. I laughed at her.
Then came Obama.
I laugh no more.

I think you have a point, but remember, much that happens in the intelligence community stays secret. A couple of clearances and threats of prosecution, and silence can be achieved.
I'd like to peek in the Snowden files and see if anything like this is in there.

Ah yes. Sandy Hook. Some say there were NO children killed. This was a giant hoax perpetrated by the US government to grab our guns. And then there are some really strange theories.
Fact is - none of the various, different and conflicting "official" versions and reports are any more or less absurd than the wildest conspiracy theories.
And this relates to ALL of Obama's tricks. His birth certificate, his OBL capture and death, his Fast and Furious, his handling of mass murders, his Trayvon/Ferguson/etc. racist tactics, and more.
Obma lies when the truth would serve him better.
Oh he made us the No.1 financer of terror before the iran deal. along with his GOP lackies, he’s been shipping them weapons, releasing their terror leaders from Gitmo and hamstringing the military for 7 years or so.
Then he gifted them Iraq and all the literal billions worth of hardware and weapons we left behind and trained the Iraqui/now ISIS types to use as if by magic.
Saudi has not funded them a FRACTION of that.
The true "gullible" people in America are the ones who cling to the fantasy that mass murder by corrupt government only happens in other countries and in other eras.
