A woman who recorded the terrifying moment she encountered a black bear outside a cabin in Alaska has garnered international attention because of the way she begged and pleaded with the large mammal to please, please leave her kayak alone.
Mary Maley was on a solo kayaking trip from Ketchikan to Petersburg, Alaska, when she decided to stop at a U.S. Forest Service cabin in Berg Bay. Before she could head out on a four-mile hike, she met her nemesis, the bear. Maley posted a video ..
“I had just carried my tent, food, and all my gear into the cabin to dry,” Maley wrote on YouTube. “I heard something outside as I ate my lunch, and well, I never got to go on that hike.”

Thank you for leaving my kayak alone,” Maley says at the very start of the video. Then the bear starts lumbering towards her. “I’m going to pepper spray you in the face,” she says. And she does.
Alas, this doesn’t seem to have the desired effect. The bear turns around and Maley’s worst fear is realized. It’s heading for her kayak.
No! Get away from the kayak,” Maley yells. But her efforts are futile. The bear is now squarely focused on the kayak.
“Why are you breaking my kayak!? Stop it! Bear! Stop that!” Maley screams as the bear swats her kayak, nibbles on it and even flips it over. ..
Please stop, bear,” she says. “It’s the end of September. Why are you here? You’re supposed to be asleep. Why are you here?”
Then she tries to reason with it.
“Please stop breaking my things,” she says. “It’s not even food. It doesn’t even taste good. It’s just plastic. Bear, please stop.”

Holy crap...no kidding. That was really hard on the ears...
But that is the thing with Libs they think their actions are perfectly logical amd no one can tell them any different.
In the course of the video, seems the woman stepped upon that wooden walkway. Very dangerous, in a ‘blink’ of an eye, that bear would be upon her before she could turn into the cabin.
You know those noise machines that produce different sounds like ocean waves, forest, birds, etc.?
They should make one with her voice, because her soothing delivery and dulcet tones have a gentle, calming effect on me that defies explanation.
I now possess a sense of peace and restfulness never before experienced, and all the thanks to to this wonderful woman.
I derive great comfort knowing that if my day becomes stressful and the world weighs heavily upon me, I can simply ponder this woman’s intonations and all my troubles will simply dissolve like ether, replaced with the comforting knowledge that this woman’s aural therapy will always be just a click away.
All I see is a dead bear walking. (-:

What a stupid woman. I am surprised she didn’t yell for Walt Disney to come and help her. That is obviously where she learned everything she knew about bears.
We met an Indian man. In Canada who’s wife had been attacked by a bear in the woods.
She let the bear attack her and said nothing and did not try to get away. The bear thought she was dead and it covered her up with sticks and rocks, obviously planning to come back and eat her later.
After the bear was gone she struggled to her feet and went home. She survived her wounds but it took a long time.
