Tired of old ways: The somewhat revolutionary notion that women are actually deciding not to marry is something that wouldn't be possible if the value of marriage itself hadn't changed drastically over the years.
"When women's life choices were highly constrained, they had little negotiating power," Pepper Schwartz, a sociology professor at the University of Washington, wrote for CNN. "They had to marry or were seen as damaged ... It's different now. While most women still want marriage, they don't want it at just any price. They don't want it if it scuttles their dreams."
That, in part, is due to marriage no longer being a must for women's social and financial standing. "I don't think hookup culture is damning for long-term commitment," Lisa, 27, said. "I think it's a response to the large obsolescence of marriage as an institution for women. We don't need to be economically or socially dependent on men."
That carries out through the numbers. Compared to their grandparents' generation, millennial women are significantly more likely to have a bachelor's degree and be a part of the labor force.
"I think a lot of us just don't think marriage is that important because it doesn't offer the security it once did," Norah, 27, told Mic. "It's not as necessary anymore because I can work. I can support myself."

See, just in this thread there are several explanations of what that sin entails... Each is plausible and you can make a good argument for it, but the fact is that there is no definitive answer in the Bible. So I choose to approach every person with the belief that there is nothing they have done that God cannot and will not forgive, if they will only ask Him and accept His sacrifice as payment for their sins.
Who in their right mind would want to stay with that, especially knowing how world has got out she is a slut too.

Men want feminine women. For the past 50 years, women have gotten more militant. The current end result is Miley Cyrus. Before her was Madonna.
Sexuality has been the reason men have disregarded the masculine side of women. Rhonda Rousey is a good example of this. She might look hot to many men, but being a buttkicker is a major turn off to many men.
Many men are turning to outside of the US to find feminine women again. Some turn to the genteel women of eastern Europe, especially since muzzie men are moving in there, creating a refugee of the native women. Others turn to the fabled Asian submissive. Still others turn to the west African “back her man att all costs” woman.
WOMEN, IF YOU WANT A MAN, BE FEMININE! The more feminine you are, the better choice of men you will have.
I am not saying you have to be June Cleaver in a Raquel Welch body. I am saying, the more you assert masculine qualities, the lower quantity and quality of men you will have at your door. If you have none, it’s your fault. You are too masculine that it overcomes your sex appeal.
The entire feminist movement has been an incredible leap into economic stagnation. Household income levels are relatively the same, but two parents now work. How is this progress? Reminds me of the old Indian joke about how the men hunted and fished all the time while the squaws worked...

I was wondering the same thing.
Its all a matter of individuality... I learned a long time ago not to judge other folks relationships, whatever works for them is all that matter.
Women probably under count same reasons I would assume most guys brag, social pressure, real or perceived. I think women put more pressure on themselves based on what they see in the media and elsewhere over what is really out there. I can’t imagine meeting anyone in their 40s unless they were married young and recently divorced or widowed or something that doesn’t have a sexual past with some interesting chapters.
I do agree no one wants to wind up married to someone who is going to cheat,( unless they are into that kind of thing, and yes, there are folks who are indeed into it), and paying a very expensive price down the road.
But that’s not the topic, the topic is women being alone, or not finding Mr Right, and that to me is not so much a function of their sexual pasts as it is a general function of their very distorted view of men and relationships in general.
Women aren’t stupid, even without guidance they can quickly learn that most guys are after sex, and have little care for a longer term relationship. That’s simple enough to figure out even for someone with no one to give them advice or guidance. What’s not so simple to figure out, it seems anyway, is that men are not women. Men are men, and yes there will be guys who will truly honor and cherish you and want an honest relationship with you, but they are not going to be berated and treated like children because you think you should be treated as a princess 24/7 or that when they grab your ass and call you sweetie from time to time you take it as a personal insult and claim patriarchial oppression etc etc etc.
Guys are guys, they can love a woman beyond measure and still wind up being accused of objectifying them or some other overly sensitive nonsense because the woman only has feminist dogma nonsense as her perspective.
And I do agree many women miss a great life partner because they decide they aren’t ready for that yet in their life, because they are 28 and still have plans, only by the time they decide they are ready they are 38 or 43 and that guy found someone who was ready, as had most the other guys serious about building a life with someone.
Guys may be base, but they aren’t all jackasses, though at times we all do stupid jackass things.
Women don’t want to hear it, but fertility drops off significantly particularly once you hit 40... natural fertility rate at age 45 is literally 1% for a woman. I am not saying women in their late 30s or early 40s can’t get pregnant and have kids, they do... but the risks are higher and the probabilities are lower.
So if a guy in the same situation, decided to wait to start his family and is late 30s or 40s, he’s going to likely date a woman younger than himself, may not like it, but that’s the way it is, if his goal is to have children. A woman can date a guy younger than herself, but it won’t improve her fertility prospects.
Personally, I think anyone over 40, male or female who has never been married is going to be a tough person to wed, by that state in their lives, most folks are pretty set in their ways and if they have not had to compromise with other folks about their lives to that point its going to be a very difficult transition to married life where compromise and selflessness are required to make it work.
That’s just my .02 cents, not saying it can’t or never work out, just saying its a much tougher task to make it.

Marriage is committing to love and stand by standards of faithfulness in life, love, commitment, to a partner and their well being and yours as well. Having children and teaching them God’s values and direction. If you do not know God, buy a Holy Bible and read it. Believe it and live by it!

I don't think there is much point in complaining about the qualities of "average" woman (or man) today. You only need to find one. Complaining takes too much energy away from your being the right person, rather than searching for one. It's hard to shine when you are so busy casting suspicious looks at everybody else.
Feminism and Hollywood have done a lot of damage, but only to the kind of people who aren't really capable of thinking for themselves, anyway. Take away feminism and Hollywood and they would still be losers, just with a different set of hangups.

Oh yeah. Pop culture once reflected the commonly accepted notion that traditional marriage was the ideal.
I can remember a time when girls were shamed for being promiscuous and boys were excoriated for taking advantage of them.
There’d always be that one “popular” girl who suddenly disappeared from
school, only to return a few months later, acting much quieter, staring off into space. Everyone knew she’d been sent off to the nuns to have the baby she’d given up for adoption.
She was the negative example held up by parents and teachers. Don’t be like her.
Nowadays red carpet celebrities don’t even try to look elegant or classy. Skanky is trendy. Schoolgirls march proudly in the annual “slut walk.”
Virgins and traditional marriage proponents are considered freaks, extremists, bigots, haters.
I have so many answers to that, but do not want to derail the topic.
