In spite of the deliberately incendiary title, the essayist explores some thought-provoking issues concerning Islam. It's a long but well written piece, one that by no means is politically correct. Penned by a man born in Alexandria, Egypt to what he calls an average Muslim family, he began a "long journey of seeking the truth" and was unable to "reconcile the prescriptions for domination, violence, and slavery" of Islam.

This sounds more like a racial slur than a real intellectual discussion. But don’t write it off hastily... Everything deserves a scrutiny, even things that on the surface seem preposterous and potentially explosive.... Empathy is what defines our humanness. Technically, if you do not have empathy, or what is known as brotherly love, or Christian love, you can’t be qualified as a fully evolved human... Muslims believe to be oppressed and humiliated because they live in Muhammad’s narcissistic bubble universe. They reflect his lack of self-esteem, his feeling of rejection, his paranoia, his vengefulness, his megalomania, and his desire to subdue, to dominate and to control... The crimes committed by Muhammad make Son of Sam look like a simple felon. How can any human call a man so despicable as Muhammad a prophet of God and follow him?

The article posits a few points that are contrary to orthodox Christianity so please take that into account when reading. It's also quite lengthy, over 4,000 words. But FReepers will be readily able to handle that amount of content with ease.
There was an account here a couple of days ago about a large crowd of young males had surrounded a bus and threw rocks, spit, threw feces on and otherwise just harrassed the SHIT out of the passengers that eventually got away
Just picture yourself at a traffic light ... this morning ... and you're sudenly surrounded by screaming, out of control males that mear your car with crap and spit all over until you just say **** IT! and roar away

I've been asking the same question for years.
Muslims human? Are you kidding. These animals still believe in head cutting, stoning, and so on. Human? Nope, never evolved.

By that definition one can say that Germans, Russians, Japanese, Chinese, Spaniards, Portuguese, and yes, Americans are not human. Or at least were not during some period of their history.
Taking the question as non-rhetorical, I have never broken bread with one. One was in my PCP's office and did see me on occasion for minor things like colds. After 9/11, I asked that he be removed from his rotation. As it turns out, so did the majority of other patients. He then scurried back to Pakistan since virtually no one wanted him to touch them.
For sure some of them are only marginally so.

I have seen a few photos of the ‘clock’...a mess of circuit boards and wires. Have you seen any photos which actually show anything that looks like a clock - as in a display that shows the time?
