Former pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson this week defended research he published in 1992 that involved fetal tissue, arguing that his use of brain tissue from aborted fetuses was not equivalent to Planned Parenthood's practice of providing specimens to third-party tissue companies after performing abortions

Basically Ben gets a bye on this for the usual reason.

Been there, done that for the past seven years.

The last thing I need is to be lectured to by a know-it-all black guy for another decade.

He reeks of entitlement. Believes his own PR.

Remind you of someone?

Knock those pawns off the board-one by one. Fiorina is up first IMO.

Trump was pro-choice after 1992. He held a lot of liberal positions after 1992. I think Don needs elaborate on that tonight..

No elaboration needed for me.

It’s an abomination.

Carson, Bush, Walker and Rand need to be taken down a few more notches tonight.

Carson speaks so softly it makes you feel you need to stop what you are doing and listen to him. And then he defends fetal research.

Fetal research is human research and all human research was overwhelmingly outlawed at Nuremberg.

The US government has just mandated that chimps can't be experimented on anymore.

But somehow human babies and their tissue are still fair game?

Carson, you need to call your office.

He has elaborated on that at length previously and still moved straight to the top spot. It’s old news.

Just dropped him from my FB news feed, and “unliked” him. Nice guy, but too liberal.

And Carson has done the same on this issue. It's old news and he is close on Trump's heels in some of the polls.

The fact that this guy is even in the race, let alone has supporters mystifies me. The world is crazy.

>Fetal research is human research and all human research was overwhelmingly outlawed at Nuremberg.<

That’s a mighty big brush you’re using. So, every medical student who has taken human anatomy and physiology on donated corpses (by that individual before his or her death) has been involved in a violation of Nuremberg?

They all need to come clean on their stand. I’m having problems with donating a baby that miscarried. But it’s emotional and I haven’t studied it from God’s point of view.

I think that’s about to change as we get to know Dr. Ben a little better. I liked Carson a lot initially actually and really wanted him in the Trump VP spot but I think he’s playing for the Bush team now and even if he isn’t, he is serving their interests regardless.

Carson is campaigning based on his religion (Seventh Day Adventist), which is a modern denomination devolved from a recent female prophetess. Trump is not campaigning based on his religion (Presbyterian).

And how is that? It appears he is playing to win.
