Washington (CNN)A new CNN/ORC poll finds that although misperceptions about Barack Obama's religious beliefs and background persist, they are not as widespread as some recent polling has suggested. Obama was born in Hawaii and is a Christian.

Overall, when asked "where was Obama born, as far as you know?" 80% of adults say they believe Obama was born in the United States, while 20% said that he was born outside the country. And just 9% of those who think he was born elsewhere believe there is solid evidence of that; the other 11% say it is just their suspicion.
Misperceptions about Obama's religious beliefs are more common than those about his birth, particularly among Republicans. Overall, 29% of Americans say they think the President is a Muslim, including 43% of Republicans.

Do not know about his faith (and don’t really care), but do know by his actions that he is very un-American.

A misconception is a mistaken belief.
Basically I think CNN is implying anyone that doesn't believe 0bama was born in Hawaii and is a Christian is stupid.

REMINDER——Hillary and Bill had these pics in 2008-—
but Uncle Teddy warned them not to use them.
Teddy and Caroline then endorsed Obama publicly-—
in an adoration-filled spectacle.

If your opinion of Obama is negative, it’s a misperception.

Obama was born in Hawaii and is a Christian. It might be too much to claim Obama is a card-carrying Kenyan Muslim...but this statement is equally dubious. Whatever Obama's true beliefs, he is no Christian.

What’s funny is that CNN is basically a corporation comprised of Obama bootlickers, who go out of their way at every opportunity to carry his water - even as in this case where there is no obvious reason for them to do so - and Obama and his inner circle still think CNN is a bunch of stupid fools and laugh at them behind their backs.

asked “where was Obama born, as far as you know?”
They have to ask it that way because no one can know for sure. The only thing anyone has seen is an image on the internet.
As far as his faith, I took him at his word when he said to Stepanfetchit, “My muslim faith”. Georgie Boy stepped in quickly to save him, but everyone who really is a Christian knows that phrase would never slip out of their mouth accidently.

Where does CNN get the divine knowledge of what his faith is? I remember hearing him say, “My Muslim faith.” Did he say something else another time? If he did, how does CNN get to decide which is true?

Obama is a devout Marxist. His deity is The State. As a leftist he collaborates with Muslims for the same reason leftists have collaborated with every mortal enemy Western Civilization has ever had.

    Bingo!
Titus 1:16 (NIV)
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

a classic for poor propagandistic expository style
almost every sentence suffers from an obviously biased or distorted inference, phraseology, or word choice
far far too patent to have the desired effect of misleading many readers

do some Muslims say they revere Jesus?
does that make them also Christians in their view?
does Obama think that he is both Muslim and Christian?
