FINALLY, A REPUBLICAN STANDS UP AGAINST TRUMP By Ross Kaminsky on 9.11.15 Bobby Jindal is a smart -- even brilliant -- and accomplished man who will almost certainly not be our next president. So he doesn't have much to lose by speaking from the heart.
Speaking at the National Press Club on Friday, Jindal launched the first full-fledged Republican assault on the political tumor that is Donald Trump. The video is a must-watch just to hear someone, anyone, give a lengthy description of the true nature of the current Republican front-runner.
Jindal followed the speech with a fund-raising e-mail which highlights that his speech was "about Donald Trump" and quoting some of his own speech:
"(W)e are flirting with nominating a non-serious, unstable, substance-free narcissist. Nominating Donald Trump is a certain way for us to miss our opportunity to make America Great Again. Summer is over, it's time to get serious about saving our country. It's time to send Donald Trump back to reality TV - it's time to tell Donald Trump - it's been great, you've been great for ratings, you are almost as fun as Don Rickles, the show has been a blast."
And on Twitter, Jindal keeps on pressing: "I said about @realDonaldTrump what other candidates are thinking but don't have the guts to say" and "The reason @realDonaldTrump has never read the Bible is because he’s not in it."
Good job, Bobby. Keep it up. And the rest of you Republicans, grow a pair and stand up more aggressively against the foolishness and bombast that is the Trump candidacy.

Bobby, you don’t understand that the party you support is the problem. Republicans have both houses of Congress and fail to do anything conservative with it.

Jindal is a nice kid and what second gen Americans should be...American. But, this comes off as “chihuahua attacks rottweiler”.
And, why all the Bold, all caps headline? Did you honestly believe this was something of a great accomplishment on Jindal’s part? A few days ago I said I liked Bobby Jindal and was dismayed that he was so far down in the polls. Now, he can swim in the sewer with the other rats,and I don’t care.
The expectation was after Labor Day, the airwaves would be flooded with anti-Trump ads. Honestly, dissappointed in the GOPe's impotent approach.
As for Bobby Jindal, I have lost all respect for him.
Jindal’s attack was pathetic.
I actually thought he was one of he more effective candidates in the first debate, but he completely lost me with his whining about “shallow” Trump.

The nice, intelligent guys are patsies for the GOPe. All will be rendered impotent and floundering and their terms will be laughed at because they couldn't make ANY change with their own party in control of Congress.

This obsessive love for Trump is beginning to rival the obsessive love for the Zero. It’s frankly a little disturbing. It borders on cult of personality. Trump has never done anything in his life that did not profit him. At least Perot was supportive of Vietnam POWs (unpopular position) when they came home. If Trump has to make a call and the choice is good for America or only good for Trump, does anyone doubt he will do what’s good for Trump Enterprises?
