This is scary news. Of course, they have to actually go to the voting booth.
Don’t worry. The blacks will crawl over broken glass to vote for Granny Clinton.
Many FReepers don’t realize that Trump is revered by blacks. In many rap songs, he is name-referenced, and he’s best friends with music mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.
And that’s now. Imagine when he starts campaigning for a general and advertising. Very early and I’m very cautions, but this indeed has all the earmarks of a landslide brewing. You don’t have 40% of the primary voters in not one, but several states, so early. Trump has only been behind in three primary states, each one time in one poll: IA, WI, and OH. Two of those are favorite son governors.
Jorge Ramos could not be reached for comment.
I’m a cynic. When the rubber meets the road blacks will vote how they’re told. But they won’t have the enthusiasm or turnout they did for Obama.
That would be crazy. If democrats lost 25% of the black vote in Philadelphia, they’d only receive 108% of total votes cast in that city.
#Blackliesmatter going to elect Trump President....bwahhhhhhhhh!!!
I told my best friend on the phone yesterday that my belief is that if Trump can win the GOP nomination I am not the slightest bit worried about him winning the general election. He will steal a good deal of the Dem vote including blacks and Hispanics.
PLUS it makes the ‘Latino’ vote unimportant
the dims are having heart attacks I am sure
>> If Trump would skim off 25% of those voters from the Democratic Party he would win the 2016 election in a landslide <<
Yep, and if pigs could fly, we’d have a serious problem with air traffic control.
Hillary, ain’t no way tarred about this.
Pray America is waking
Party on puppet theatre patrons!
The graph is deceptive as it makes it appear that nearly half of the Dem votes come from blacks. That is not true - it is closer to the 22% number.
But the point is still valid. The Dems know that even reaching 40% of the white vote is an uphill challenge - requiring their hand-picked Republican candidates (like Romney/McCain) to carry them across the finish line.
Those bad numbers above are offset with their huge percentages of black votes, and the overall vote gets near 50/50. If the black vote margin starts to disappear, with no corresponding gain in the white vote, then it’s not even worth the time of the Democrats to run.
But shouldn’t we go with Jeb on the “electability” issue?
Oh, wait...
