In this world of covert actions, first brought to the forefront after WW2 with the Cold War, there were many P-08’s in use. However, two handed magazine changes become more fumbled when you are in the thick of it, i.e., the magazine catch is on the bottom of the pistol.
Since we have seen quite a few newer models to compete with the venerable 1911, and it’s brother, the Browning Hi Power.
Besides the BHP, there are Argentinian models (FM), Hungarian models (FEG), and Czech models (CZ75).
Nowadays, if it cannot have ‘a rail’ under the frame, it is a second class firearm. Not my cup of coffee.
