Yeah, they put him in left field and all the boys went after the ball like it’s a fumble and land on his arm.
Play your position boys! Heh.

We must have ‘grown’ during a much different time frame. I don’t remember the same either. At best we won a ribbon, a piece of bubble gum. It was not until I was in my 30’s before winning a quasi trophy. And that was for my poor performance on our bowling team. (I bowled much like our puppet king....awful) It’s not surprising America as fallen so fast so far. Citizens long for the time of American pride, the willingness to do what it takes to solve a problem to reach an acceptable answer. It gives great pride to know how much we were able to help Chili in the mine disaster. That I don’t believe that could ever have happened in the generation seen today. Not saying it couldn’t but deem in highly unlikely. Pride in staying glued to the tee vee in order to see MAN WALK ON THE MOON. That moment will always be remembered as a high point in my life. We made it happen. We were able to get mankind into space and safely on another globe and then RETURN home safely. Since that eventful evening think back as to how many wonderful, dedicated intelligent persons were lost due to accidents which seemed to occur for no apparent reasons.
To take pride in our country once again would bring nothing but happiness and joy to countless numbers of US/WTP We long for those days, long to succeed, and willing to do what it takes to achieve those goals.

You are correct. These younger people apply for jobs and then tell the employer when they can and can’t work and when their vacays are planned.

Everyone is supposed to thank them for showing up.

It happens in our company all the time. We try to hire older people who actually appreciate having a steady job.

Good for him. There is some integrity in the black community.

Participation trophies rank right in there with those mamsy pamsy pee wee games where there are no winners and no losers. Good on Harrison.

“Our kids grow up, then they whine when their bosses do not give them rewards for just showing up to work”

Kids nothing, try some adults. I just had an employee find another job (I was getting to the point of firing) because she was upset that I wrote her up for her inability to get to work on time and refusing to allow her to work when she chose. I was “inflexible”.

Going hunting with your father and other relatives is better than sports anytime. No “particapation trophies" in hunting. you either come home with game you shot, or not.
