CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Just when you thought you had gotten over last winter, be warned: The Old Farmer's Almanac predicts it will be super cold with a slew of snow for much of the country, even in places that don't usually see too much of it, like the Pacific Northwest.
If you don't want to read about those four-letter words, there's plenty more to peruse in the folksy, annual book of household tips, trends, recipes and articles, such as animal jealousy, the history of shoes and anticipation for the biggest Supermoon in decades in November 2016.

That said, we in the Pacific Northwest snow country should expect lots of snow like we usually have; we had none last winter.
It’s around 80% correct from what I have read.
I go by the Farmer’s Almanac and the fuzzy bears.
Here is Firsthand Weather’s forecast for the winter.

IIRC, Joe Bastardi is saying that at least the eastern half of the US is going to be quite cold.
80% accuracy is better than the 0% accuracy of the globalwarming doomsayers.
Or didn't I read my own article completely:-)

And the Establishment wonders why the public doesn’t listen to them anymore.
I will believe it when I see it. As far as Kalifornia is concerned, another year of drought and the state will be decimated, industry will leave, people will move, and the only ones left will be Moonbeam, the RATS in the legislature and the illegals. My heart bleeds as his Heinous Moonbeam is responsible.
Then we can mock and call out the liars this winter.
We use “wooly worms”.
Don’t know if it’s the same or not.
I Predict—Rain, rain, and more rain for California starting in November. Flooding in January—people will die. Too much water is coming. Every 12 years we get this—since the days of the Mission Fathers—The next year will be the 12th Year! Get your batteries, First aide kits, extra food and water. Get your battery opperated radios ready! the drought will become a terrible joke.

It's brilliantly written.
Thank you. I have read it.
Pingy.
Bring it on! Heat index hit 124 this past week.
El Nino will bring much needed rain to the west.
There will be flooding and mud slides but California will survive.
Good! Bring it on!
Please let there be snow pack in the Sierras and snow in Nevada. We so desperately need it.
I follow Matthew (Firsthand Weather) on Facebook and get his newsletter. He’s a remarkable young man.
