The correct medicines will lower your blood pressure APPROPRIATELY, which is what you need. Go see a doctor! Drinking 2 or 3 glasses of wine, or 2 or 3 beers, will also TEMPORARILY lower your blood pressure, since alcohol is a vasodilator, but then they might think you are abusing it.
Go for a walk—a couple miles—an hour before the physical. A fair amount of deep breathing a few minutes before the measurement will help... I think it lowers the upper number more than the lower, though. Skip coffee and tea that day, too.
However, kidding yourself about high blood pressure is no way to go through life (Animal House reference).

You aren’t saying much more than this is for exam, so I’m guessing this is one time, but if it is routinely high PLEASE get help. Stroke is no joke. Diazepam reduces arterial blood pressure significantly. 5 to 10 mg is VERY effective in lowering BP. Routine to use diazepam (valium) IV in hospitals to help lower it. i am not recommending you to take it, you should ask a doc, but it is a pretty common and effective way to lower bp.
Do not engage in any physical exercise, as it will up your BP and blood sugar readings.
Hot water bath lowers my BP. Stay away from salt.
Stay away from nicotine, caffene, and meth. Take grandma’s bp meds.
Eat celery and your BP will go down. Works every time.
If you had a week. 20 minutes of exercise (light jog/quick walk/bike) at Breakfast, Noon, and dinner will lower your BP dramatically the next day.

Find a route that is about 5-7 miles and rises at least 4 or 5000 feet and try to get up it as absolutely fast as you can. If your on your hands and knees in the last part, you’ll have done good, the arteries will be all stretched out
