It’s not bad on toast with an egg.
Are they going to ban baking yeast as well?

Those mates can get pretty wascally sometmes. LOL! Once the Kenyan gets done “fundamentally transforming” this country, we’ll be making Vegemite out of horse dung.

Sheesh! Do you know how easy it is to make your own yeast? Ever heard of "sourdough"?
There are also all kinds of books about brewing homebrew beer with directions of making various kinds of brewers yeast too.
A couple of my uncles lived in the Texas hill country brewed their own beer all the time.
Good Stuff too if ya like beer.

They use bread as a yeast substitute to ferment that nasty drink in prison. Some factions want to ban everything that enters their tiny liberal minds. Bang!

When did Oz turn into such a nanny state?
To: nickcarraway
But Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion, said its sale should be restricted in remote communities where alcohol is banned. Just like every other drug problem these people take a prohibitive approach to the problem which is destined from the outset to failure.
As can be seen from the Vegemite issue people are creative by nature and will find a way to satisfy their desires.
One of reasons that alcohol is a problem in these communities is that the people living there largely unemployed and on public assistance. They have huge amounts of unproductive time to fill and alcohol is one way to numb an under used mind.
Cut their public assistance payments to the bare minimum and their underutilized minds will find more productive things to do that drink themselves in to a stupor.
