I've agonized, like many here, these past couple days. I honestly believed there was a concerted effort to embarrass and knock Trump off, a conspiracy if you will, but I’ve come full circle and now feel differently, very differently.
I don’t think there was any conspiracy. I think the Fox trio, worked hard to challenge the candidates, and independently from Rupert Murdock or Ailes or anyone else.
Right out of the gate it was great TV. After the opening salvo, you didn’t want to turn your tv off.
And what happened? Each candidate was hit with a zinger. Trump was hit the most, and I doubt that anyone else running for office could have answered like he did.
He swatted their best shots as well as Newt would.
And what else happened? Fox tried to take the rest of the group out with tough questions. And they all rose to the occasion, except maybe Bush, who seemed to play it safe...perhaps Walker too.
I think all in all Fox showed why the interviews of Obama are a big joke. Obama or Hillary could never stand up to the barrage that our side took last week.
And I am proud of everyone, including Chris, Kelly and Brett... and all of our candidates.
I pray that eventually we will all coalesce and unite. I think Trump can and will do that. It makes no sense to run third party... makes no sense. He's way ahead now, and he's taking shots left and right.
What is left now, is for someone to sit down with him, and ask him some serious policy questions about our country, and how he sees us winning. He can tell us. It's right there in his book, Making America No. One Again.
I'm waiting for some one like Kelly to have read the book and ask him questions on what he says in the book.
The bottom line, if you can't handle Chris, Kelly and Brett, how in the heck are you going to handle Putin, the Chinese, the Iranians etc?
I hope Trump rises to the occasion and doesn’t op out on any future debates. I hope he remain himself.
I think he will. He fired his manager, who apparently was a milktoast.
If Kelly is smart she'll find some way to make it right with Trump. She'll invite him back on her show.
He'll refuse of course, then eventually he'll accept, and it will be the biggest show of her career, and the two will be best of friends.
You know why? because she is a lot like Trump.
She's a class act. She could taken Erickson's invite, who btw is a classless act, a joke and a loser.
In short, I am excited. The top four, Trump, Cruz, Carson and Carli and all outsiders. What does that tell you folks!!!!?
“Class acts” do not dress like hookers, with fake hair extensions, fake eyelashes and a cocktail dress to moderate a serious event. She was trusted with something of great importance to the future of America and she spit in the People’s eye.
Too bad I ditched cable a year ago, or I would ditch Fox all over again.
No.. seriously, I came full circle. I posted here last night, that I hated her, and anyone who looked like her.
But today, I can see that she’s not taking any of this personally. She is taking some big huge hits, and she’s acting like a big girl, and Trump should see that, surely he should respect that.
She’s a winner, and he is too.
They also don't mock ones' religion like she did to Ted Cruz.
No doubt, she is going to take some huge Dixie Chick grief here. No doubt. But she’s taken in stride.
I have much more respect for her today than I did Thursday.
Although, I think she should make the first move to make up to The Donald.

As time goes on, Trump has to define his positions and how he hopes to achieve them, just as Senator Cruz did when he explained his first actions in Office if elected POTUS.
We are so far out from the Election and we only have one Debate, if you can call it a debate behind us.
From my perspective, Kelly and the other Moderators made this personal about Trump before he even hit the Stage. They said as much leading up to it. Nice Conspiracy there.
My Wife, who up until now was as Apolitical as they come likes Trump. She has never watched a Republican Debate in her Life, and she voiced outrage the moment Kelly asked her Gotcha question, and don’t doubt it was anything but gotcha question for a moment. No background information, no context and factually incorrect is not a question, it is an attack in the form of a question.
That is not professional Journalism and I blame all three Moderators for it. They all compiled and discussed the questions beforehand and decided who was going to ask which one. Is it a coincidence that the only Girl on the Panel threw that Bomb?
I thought at the time it was petty, and then I realized that the Moderators were purposely ignoring my Candidate Cruz, up until good old Megyn pulled the God question on him. Her condescending, so does God talk to you question had me fuming.
Respect is a two way street. JMHO...
I don't think there's any question that she's lost the right-conservative viewers she had. Maybe she'll pick up a lot of liberal viewers to replace them, and her numbers won't suffer.
Either way, she made a conscious choice to join the dominant liberal media. There's no going back now, no matter what she does to backtrack or 'evolve'.
Her audience is now the establishment elites, their drones, and the liberal left.
Ignorance can be corrected through education.
But you just can’t fix STUPID.
