I received the notice that my computer is ready to download 10. Why would I do that any earlier than I have to?

I had the same reaction. I heard that we have a large amount of time to redeem our free version if we want it. I’m going to wait.

I just upgraded all the PCs in my house to 10 last week. True, there are bugs. More true, every PC with 10 on it runs as fast as the day I bought the PC, or faster.

Whatever behavior in Windows was deprecating the OS over time, that ‘feature’ seems to have been been yanked.

With you on that.

I did download and it never was able to synce my Outlook email and gave me some sort of gibberish Windows code error message saying I needed to re-download 10. . .did that. . .twice.

Still received the error message and Outlook never worked.

And ‘apps,’ what do I want with apps. I just need MS Office products and email and I am good to go.

Apparently not syncing Outlook is a regular problem.

Because Bill Gates wants to sell your soul to whomever will buy your data.
