go there..click on whatever processor you have, either 32 bit or 64 bit..download the program(This is the FINAL version of windows 10) select that you want to install to a different computer, this allows you to make a ISO image of the file so you can use that to upgrade, plus if you want to do a clean install..it will ask you what version of windows 10 you want, if you have windows 8.1 HOME you need to get Windows 10 HOME..if you have pro, you can get PRO, etc etc..once downloaded you can use that ISO image that you burned to upgrade FIRST, you MUST upgrade to Windows 10 first, skip activation, skip putting in your serial #, microsoft will automatically get it once you are fully upgraded..then after your upgraded, you can either keep it the way it is or do a clean install, same installation but you will be free of your previous operating system

I'm in the same boat. I've fixed all the problems that wouldn't let it download, yet it keeps going through the same loop.Service registration is missing or corrupt.

I have been hearing a lot of things about Windows 10 that makes me very reluctant to download it. But in any case whenever something new comes out, I prefer to wait a while and let them work out any bugs. Let someone else be the guinea pig.
