I remember one time I drove to my buddy’s home just north of Nashville from N.H. and along Route 40 going into Tenn. (I think it was Rt. 40) I saw this HUGE Confederate flag flying on the right side, something like a 100’ by 60’.
Loved it.
If flags in site violence, let’s ban video games, action movies an TV, and comic books.
Hey, boys and girls, there are still plenty Rebel flags abound to adorn many a ‘tac hat’, in original colors and subdued - dependent on the color scheme, as well as many State flags that are still available.
Will i say where? NOPE! That’s up to you.
I am no big Confederate flag guy.
I am a i don’t like being told what to do.
Was that where they didn’t want anyone taking pictures of their wedding so they wrote “f you” on the beach, or is the beach thing something else?
This flag flap is pissing off a whole bunch of Americans.
Yes, it is. We’re proudly flying a nice 4’ x 6’ Tennessee battle flag on the ranch, here in Minnesota!
(along with the Gadsden, Stars & Stripes, and big #3)
You’re most welcome, Ditter.
:-) I can relate. We have the one on the house, but I don’t have one like to carry.
i think I’m going to see if a dowel from Home Depot or Lowes will work. They sent the hardware to attach it to the pole with the last order.
People are waking up, can we avoid another civil war?

Shame to have a war.
(Apologies for the double post)
The best quote I’ve heard (sums up my feelings exactly) came from Dr Michael Hill, president of League of the South. Paraphrasing- This flag is not about hate. It’s about love. Love for the soil, love for our culture, love for our faith, and love for our kith & kin.
The new meaning is rebellion & defiance as well as love. It’s up to the left whether or not that turns to hate. Keep it up & it will.
I was looking around out front. Considering our circle driveway and all the trees, I don’t know if I have a place in the front where a flag could fly in all directions and not get tangled in a tree. Maybe I better forget having a flag.
(grrr blind as a bat & missed your post, Ditter)
That circular driveway could put y’all at risk for a “flag challenge”.
dear procon,
I wonder how many headaches are being suffered, while riding the TriMet Max light rail, in downtown Pioneer Square over this?
Go get yo’ a tactical hat, and the patches are out there.
Good to hear!
Yes I understand, but in today’s dumbed-down generation of ignorance regarding history, the “Confederate Flag” is the Stars and Bars.
The Basque Flag of my mom’s country has the same St. Andrew’s Cross on it and that flag is about as reviled in Spain as the Army of Northern VA’s Battle Flag is here apparently.
