Rather lengthy explanation of the coming el nino, and how it will affect global temps.

Joe Bastardi ping.
Rather lengthy explanation of historical El Ninos and the one coming.
By the way, I’ve been doing this for three years, now. I thought it might be two, but I went through my posting history and it’s been three years. Wild.
BTTT!
Three years of thanks for doing the pinging.
Thank you for the posting.
State of Fear by Michael Crichton is an excellent ‘novel’ that does a great job of disproving anthropomorphic global warming.
Thanks for posting these Saturday summaries!
I hope you and Joe will not stop doing these. I look forward to the weekend info.
Now, just out of curiosity, how did you come to be a weather bug?
Thank you, Excellence.
Joe used to do weather reports for Yahoo. I’d just received my first computer, and his reports were fascinating. That was in the late 90s. Then he started WeatherBELL. But I always knew the truth about AGW, tried to argue against it with the home school list I belonged to, and literally was banned from the group.
But that got me into conservatism, and for the sake of global sanity I hope we get that plunge after this coming El Niño.
It is very cool that you do this. I’m fascinated to hear him often just To learn stuff. Now I am tuning in out of financial effect on myself (Socal drought), like all the other people in the country.
I appreciate that this next year or two could really prove the anthropogenic global warming folks wrong, and I hope it does.
Thanks for THREE YEARS of excellent (<-see what I did there!) weekly pings!
I am fascinated by Earth sciences (meteorology, seismology) but even if I could have gone to college I know I could have NEVER followed my interests (way too much higher math for me!). I follow Joe on Twitter (as well at AccuRayno, and WattsUpWifhThat) for my wx “fix.”
Joe is a prolific Twitterer. He really gets into it with other meteos, but he always tries to find agreement in the different arguments.
In the upper NW it takes a certain breed to be conservative and I thank you for it. I can’t imagine keeping my mouth shut for the sake of neighborliness and I’m glad my circle of acquaintances are, for the most part, right of center.
You rock!
It would be appreciated if you would post a summary of Joe’s Saturday video. My sound card or whatever does not work on my PC.
Thanks and thanks for the pings!
“...and for the sake of global sanity I hope we get that plunge after this coming El Niño.”
Me, too! But, I’m pretty sure NOTHING is going to stop the grifters making scads of cash off of this Climate Change Dog & Pony Show. Grrrrrr!
Joe BUMP!
Do you have a smart phone?
Joe for years worked for Accu Weather, then decided to form the group here....excellent products.
I hope Bastardi is right about the El Nino call, it could break the drought. He called for a wet April in California but it didn’t materialize.
