I object to it because it gives women a false sense of security that they can really only have by being adequately armed. The average adult male has as much muscle tissue in his two quadriceps as the average adult female has in her entire body.

In the movies, girls kick men's asses in life-and-death situations all the time. In the real world there is a name for girls who try to do that: they are known as "decedents."

I'm sure Rousey can beat up a lot of ordinary guys walking around on the street; she is a professional fighter in great condition, after all. But the idea that she would last more than about thirty seconds with a male UFC fighter in her class is absurd.

Yes exactly. She could kick my ass, but a male fighter who’s worth half a damn? She wouldn’t have a prayer of making it of the first round.

So silly of them to bring it up all the time. I have no trouble respecting her as the best female fighter without buying into the notion she could hold her own against men.
