Today CMP released their 4th and most disturbing video yet. I've had a good idea what abortion is about so I shouldn't have been shocked, yet I could barely handle it.
I'm curious, what have you heard from non- conservatives about it? (I'm not talking evil hardcore leftists). My suspicion is a lot will not watch it, but what, what are they saying? What have you heard?

The biggest fear that Liberals have is that there are/will-be too many people on this earth.
They honestly believe our planet can only support thirty million people.
The fact that it is presently supporting several billion people doesn’t enter their minds.
Have you ever been around someone who is terrified? Not much thinking going on. They only want whatever is terrifying them to be far away from them.
They can’t catch a spaceship to utopia, so they only see one solution. People must die so that there are fewer people on this planet. The unborn cannot fight back against them, so they are easily killed.
But, abortion is not enough to remove their terror.
People must be forced to die. And not just a few hundred at a time. They need hundreds of millions to die.
I’ve heard one say “how can we know they’re real?” “No, I can’t watch it. I’m the type of person who can’t watch those things!”
Kind of depressing. We have to keep telling everyone about them though.

the media’s over the top phony outrage over Cecil....................... Its the Media’s way of putting up a hyped smoke screen, to hide the stories they are told to keep a low profile on. This covers most of the Liberals, not necessarily all the Democrats, as many are also very Christian and disgusted with PP doing business in baby parts. The disturbing part is the brains of mush do not see through it.

Well said. People ARE in denial, they don’t want to admit that legalized abortion is genocide, and, genocide of minorities in particular.
I do not have any non-conservative friends, period. When I meet someone who shows GOPe/RINO/lefty-feelings I drop him/her like hot potatoes.

I had a college adjunt professor tell me that planed parenthood only did abortions in the first trimester when the fetuses was just a small clump of cells. when I informed her that over 10 percent were in the second trimester and that a significant amount was third trimester she told me that I was wrong because it was illegal. When I informed her she was wrong. she looked at me and told me how naïve I was for believing everything that the antiabortion lobby puts out. what is really crazy is that I am sure she believes what she is spouting off. I believe Most Liberal do not want to know the truth about abortion because then they have to face that they supported murder of innocence.
What happened to the ‘morals’ of our country? Have we been so busy in our own lives that we have forgotten where we live and what we stand for?
And to even go further and realize that these people in planned parenthood and our government are selling ‘baby parts for profit...my gawd people what does that say about us and how we are living???
We need to stop and listen and think, and put our morals back together and live like humans are supposed to live, not like money hungary animals....

The argument is made, "well can't we object to both?" The answer is no. They are not moral equivalents. A lot of people around here are taking too much pride in their ability to, "make distinctions." So when someone says there is no equivalency they find it an affront to their ability to morally "walk and chew gum at the same time." There is nothing immoral about hunting animals. Period. We can have a reasonable discussion about conservation and best practices for wildlife management. What we cannot do is surrender ground to the enemy by even hinting at some sort of moral equivalence.

It hasn’t come up at work, at all. The SJ Mercury News has run one editorial saying the people who uncovered the story should be investigated. Today they did publish a letter pointing out how monstrous and evil the murders (my word) are. My conservative wife will talk about Cecil, but not the evils of PP. No other data points, unfortunately.

Here's a way to think about that. Most people think morality disappeared. I would say that it was transferred. The internal need for moral self-exculpation, which is when we view our moral code as superior to all others, is a strong force in all of us. That's the natural law speaking to us and so we get outraged when the moral code is violated.
For those who deny the dignity of the human person their sense of morality hasn't disappeared, just been redirected. Their relationship with humanity is disordered so the object of their morality is transferred to lesser creatures, i.e., nature or animals. Think of it this way, there is a lot of truth to the notion of the, "crazy cat lady". We've all known someone like that. This is what you are seeing today just on a national scale.
This transference was inevitable when America began substituting materialism for Judeo-Christian morality. Substituting the creation for the Creator. You're absolutely right about that. Don't despair. Things are beginning to go in the right direction. This is just another battle in the war. It could take another generation, maybe even two but we will regain what we've lost.
