Ted Cruz was interviewed today by the liberal Gwen Ifill from PBS Newshour, and to her credit the interview was not a gotcha interview. Cruz did fantastic as he always does, as they discussed a number of issues including Iran, Trump, the Washington Cartel, and some interesting tidbits from Cruzs life about him being too cocky and burning bridges when he worked for the George W. Bush campaign. Youll love it.

Can’t wait to watch this. I love this guy. He is the only REAL multi-election threat to the Democrats, because like Reagan he REALLY understands America. If the LORD will let us have Cruz, I believe we may still be in His favor.

Thanks for your input. The race gets more exciting everyday. We need Ted’s unwavering faith for sure.

He succeeded with audio because he gave her the “red meat” of a little emoting. Also important is her knowing that he would pounce on any of her mistakes. Good job Ted :-)

If Ifill gave what sounds like a fair interview, then she much have buyer’s remorse. She used to be rabidly pro-0bama back in the day.
Still, I wish they wouldn’t waist Cruz’s time with strawman issues like his being ‘cocky’. What is Cruz supposed to be - depressed and unsure of himself?

I think he's the first politician I've heard speak about flyover country and the utter disdain the coastal/urban power centers have shown for us.

I have yet to see Cruz have a bad interview. The guy is perpetually on his game.

I remember that Sarah Palin treated broken-footed Gwen very kindly at her debate, and Gwen said she appreciated that.

Yes, Cruz is expected to be a quivering mass of doubt, just like most liberals before they consume their mind-altering drugs.

Being a quivering mass of doubt is highly regarded in the liberal universe. They interpret that as being intelligent and “Nuanced”.
I interpret that as being unprepared and unsuitable for elective office.
But that’s just me.

I thought the question was on point, as Sen. Cruz included the reference in his book. His response almost made it sound like she had just teed up a great big, fat, slow moving softball, and he put it over the centerfield fence.

Yes. Well it is an edited interview but it is edited quite fairly. I thought it was very clever of him to reference Gwen's program Opan the newspaper, turn on the News Hour... at 7:40 or so. The man can think on his feet. He is of a totally different intellectual caliber than ANYTHING we have been accustomed to and for this reason he is the only REAL threat to ANY Democrat opponent.
