God I am so hoping the GOP chokes on this and dies a painful death. Trump can bring forth the new party.

Like McLame said in his commercial, “Build the danged fence.”

Republicans 10 years too late and no real interest in building that fence.

It started with the 1965 Immigration Act. Legal immigration is a far bigger problem than illegal immigration.

Thank God someone has finally broken through the Ministry Of Propaganda filter so that American citizens have a voice as to the future of their country.

65-70% of the citizens have been screaming to get the border secured and the laws enforced.
They have been frustrated by one party that wants a new permanent majority and another that wants to keep flooding the country with cheap labor.

No one is representing the citizens.

Trump has moved into that vacuum

I am sure that many voters of both parties in those states that are overrun with illegals would go to the polls to express their utter frustration with the invasion of our nation. You couldn’t even all it an invasion or you would be called a racist. THEY control the language that we can use.

But if Cruz, Trump, or someone else trusted on border security runs as the Republican (although I can’t think of any others), then it may well be a 2-person race, and the Republican candidate may well get a huge turnout from Republican voters and even a lot of crossover voters, as there are millions of Democrat types that would also like to see some sort border security.

Very true. Blue collar Democrats in the midwest are not keen on amnesty. We just don’t hear about them because they’re afraid of their party’s wrath on them if they speak out.

I wish Cruz was against expanding H-1B. Hoards coming by plane is no better than hoards walking across an unguarded border.

There's two problems.

Problem one is that politicians haven't done their job. That creates a Trump opening. That's the smaller problem. The bigger problem is that the people who complain about it too often are fooled by big talk and don't pay attention to action (or inaction). That caused the problem in the first place. Talk is more important to the idiot voters than action. That's why we have all the talk about debates when they really mean jackcrap.

Trump is all talk. I won't vote for him for dogcatcher. I'd even rather have Jeb than Trump and there's not a chance I'd vote for him either.

I'll stick with proven records. I have good choices this time for once and I'm going to take advantage of it. Cruz or Walker. Probably Cruz.

Something I posted a year ago:

Immigration reform is about greed.

Immigration reform is about money.

Immigration reform is about supply and demand.

Increase the supply of labor and demand falls, wages fall, your wages fall.

Ask yourself why the government CHOOSES to not enforce immigration law?

The political donor class and the employer class hold the reins of the government through how the political parties are funded. These are the people who are demanding the government ignore parts of immigration law.

Why?

Greed, plain and simple.

Increase the labor supply and the amount you have to pay people goes down, and you no longer need to treat them very well, because there are MILLIONS of hungry fearful people who will put up with it because the supply of jobs shrinks relative the number of people looking for work.

Thats a ‘win win’ for the employer class and the political donor class.

Once again the middle class is being squeezed for the benefit of the few, follow the money.

Any politician who pushes immigration reform without demanding the laws on the books be enforced is an enemy of your future, an enemy of your childs future.

Those politicians are doing the work of the employer class and the political donor class, society and culture be damned.

Dare to speak against them and you will be labeled ‘racist’ by the media, a media controlled by the employer class and the political donor class.

The government no longer is about public service, it is about the money.

When the government is free to select which laws to enforce, with the blessing of the courts your freedom vanishes.

And there is no one to vote for who could/would fix it, from either party.

We are so screwed.

It is not just immigration that is the problem with the gop. It is their inability to do anything. They refuse to stop the out of control spending. They have done nothing about the criminal activities at the IRS, DOJ, EPA, and the State Department. All these agencies should have had people put in jail by now.

The GOP has lost any bit of integrity. I mean guns killing Mexicans, Private email accounts, collusion between the DOJ, EPA, IRS to target conservatives.

It looks to anyone that our government is full of criminals.

Not to mention the destruction of our freedoms.

Both parties need to be cleaned out of the parasites that now infest them. Trump is a outsider and people see this.

As far as I can tell, no one has done anything constructive since President Eisenhower.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Excellent! And consider that the RINOs they ran for president would have had more support from conservatives IF THE CONGRESS HAD DONE ANYTHING FOR CONSERVATIVES!
If we had any confidence in the congress to look out for us we’d have been more willing to support even a Romney- IF we had confidence the congress would hold him back from extremes.

But, of course, the situation was just the opposite- and, as you say, will be so in 2016.
The ‘moderate’ GOP establishment is, and has been, cutting their own throat and thinking how smart they are.
