Update on cutting cable and Dish
http://free-classic-tv-shows.com/
Beautiful site for thousands and thousands of classic public domain TV and movies (also classic music and radio).
Legal, safe, free and well organized and easy to use.
Anyone ‘cutting the cord’ needs to check it out.
Do you have OTA Channels like Gettv Movies tv METV Cozi TV Antenna TV bounce tv Buzzrtv network and Decades in your area
There is more coming like Hero and icon tv network which show Cops show and MGM Sinclair stations group start their version of Sci fi channel with Stargate SG 1 Outer limit and Dead like me
Haha “CAIR” surely is a scam that is certain! I’m not sure I understand your post though, sorry FRiend.
1. Amazon is Netflix Jr. About $100 a year.
2. YouTube is free. There is a Roku App. Watch full 90 minute concerts in HD. The bargain of the Century.
3. TuneIn App. Free. Conservative Talk Radio from all over the U.S. And more.
4. Lots of TechTalk Apps.
sorry but I’ve never lived ‘in their life’ ... chose mine instead ... sorry ... expect an answer and one will never come but there might be something or someone that will ‘throw up’
1 ... 2 ... 3 ... there might be 1, 2, or 3 to take a place ...
Cut the cable cord several years ago. Here are my suggestions.
Netflix - everybody knows, works well
Hulu plus - about the same price as netflix, but, you can get current shows. I really like it, because there are shows I would have never watched that are on huluplus.
Amazon prime - I love for the free shipping. If you are looking to find a favorite show for free, be prepared to be dissapointed. They do have shows I like, like Downton Abbey, but cheap tv shows they still want $1.99 per episode, and after 3 years of prime, the list of shows that are pay are getting higher.
We mostly use netflix, hulu plus, and then amazon prime for pay preview type movies.
Hope this helps
Solarmovie.is.
You really don’t need anything else. I watch everything on my iPad which has an adapter so I can hook it onto the TV. You can also hook a laptop to your tv or just watch what you want on the computer.
I would never pay for any service. I’ve been streaming from this site for years.
No Polish chicks...
Are you sure?
Not even this one?

She’s quite attractive!
I was jesting:)
Polish girls fit the bill.
Fantastic resource. I watched an early Jack Benny show and thoroughly enjoyed it. Truly funny yet appropriate for all ages.
For those who don’t want to cut the cord completely; we’ve had ‘basic-basic’ cable for years (DirectTV customer before local channels were offered in the area)
It isn’t advertised on our cable site and I’ll bet not on others either, but it’s there. We pay $6/mo. for the ‘basic-basic’ package - all network channels, local access, and a whole bunch of different PBS channels.
Would love to dump DirectTV but DH has to watch that darn GolfChannel - lol
We have Free Government TV and a few really good antennas for the TVs in the living room and kitchen. Easily 20 channels to choose from...and they keep adding more, it seems. We like having MeTV (Classic re-runs) and The Weather Channel.
I don’t miss cable or dish at all. I use Netflix and get DVD movies and series from my Library - the one and ONLY place you’ll never hear me bitchin’ about tax dollars wasted. :)
I don’t mind seeing movies or TV series after the fact. If it’s good writing, it endures.
I cut the cable around 6 mos ago. HD antenna and amazon prime via hard internet connection to router. I only miss FoxNews (man,do I miss it!), golf channel, and dvr. If anyone knows how to get foxnews via internet let me know.
I honestly don’t understand what is preventing alacart programming. Like $1/month per channel, pick the ones you want. Plus maybe $10/mo dvr? Seriously, it’s such a no-brainer you know political palms are getting greased.

(be careful of the ads)
That’s my goal!
Currently have HughesNet and Directv. HN is very close to the worst company to ever have to deal with. Directv is OK except their price creep and too many channels we would never watch.
About to get a WISP broadband, so streaming is what is next. Hope its not overly complicated just to change a program.
Many of those you listed - however, also LOTS of church channels and Spanish-language, both of which I’ll watch selectively, but they do seem over-represented. Cant’ get the local PBS station, which is not a huge deal except for Rick Bayliss’ show and Downton.
Thanks - missing Fox News, the Roku version of it doesn’t seem to be updated very frequently. I know Newsmax isn’t up to Fox quality, but at least it’s not MSM!
