CHICAGO (CBS) Mayor Rahm Emanuel says police are doing all they can to quell violence on the streets, but the problem requires having fewer guns on the streets and more moral values in the homes, reports WBBM Political Editor Craig Dellimore.
Mayor Emanuel says he is both saddened and sickened by the rash of gun violence that claimed so many lives this weekend while police officers were on 12-hour shifts and the citys summer jobs program is employing more people than ever.

No whites were killed.So”.................
Chicago and Baltimore, Liberal utopian Societies..massive gun control, illegal aliens everywhere, the Gaza strip is safer than those two cities because that is what liberals want..for the Criminals to have the power and for the innocent civilians to be slaughtered
” and more moral values in the homes, “
After the DemocRat machine has spent the past 60 years tearing down the family and has replaced morals with an amoral government? Stop it, Rahm, you’re killing me!
wait...guns are illegal in Chicago. What gives?
Yes, who is he to force HIS morals on other people? Isn’t that the lecture we’ve been getting from the left for decades now?
I have mentioned this in the past but it deserves attention again, especially the part about being naïve. During a recent Olympics, I wanted to record an event but did so on the wrong NBC channel (MSNBC not CNBC or whatever). I came across Rachel Maddow’s show on the recording. I heard her say something similar to “San Francisco is what happens when liberals run the show so why are Conservatives so afraid?” I wonder if she still feels that way, probably more so.
What moral values? More Newports and St. Ides 40oz?
It's not gun violence, Rahm. It's thug violence.
Gun violence? Pffft. Take these thugs’ guns away and they will kill each other with knives and baseball bats.
Rahm needs to head down to the South Side Fri and Sat nights to help clear the streets of illegal guns and ‘splain to his peeps what constitutes proper behavior.
Remember - it’s “Gun Violence” not “ “Gang Violence” or even “Urban Minority Violence”.
Say it repeatedly until it becomes second nature. “Gun-Violence, Gun-Violence, Gun-Violence.”
Well it certainly isn’t a sign they’re working. Hey, has your bro Zeke turned 75 yet? Hope he takes his own advice.
Guns are not illegal in Chicago. We spent a very pleasant afternoon in the city yesterday and the entire time we were legally armed with semi-automatic .45 caliber pistols, discreetly concealed of course.

I think their goal is to condition people to believe that morality is dictated by the State. Tearing down the existing moral order is necessary to achieve that end.
But, but...Chicago has taken 3400 guns off the street...
( I hope your sarcasm alert just beeped...)
I saw a reference to this on the news, Newsmax I think but wouldn’t swear to it. Chicago has taken 3400 guns off the street and still has an increased murder problem over last year.

You have to understand liberal "logic:" nothing means anything unless it means something that's nothing like the something anything could mean when it's not meaningless.
Get it?
Thye problem IS, ram a lama ding dong .... you don’t let your guys shoot the punks that need deadin’
Too funny! There are a lot of citizens with guns outside of Chicago and Cook County, but no daily massacres. So, Tiny Dancer, it ain’t the guns that are the problem, it’s the reprobate ferals that dominate Chicago and Cook County that are the problem. But you’ll say nothing about that; will you, Rahm?
