This is exactly why, when conservatives sit on the sideline awaiting the 100% pure candidate, we damage ourselves. Election have consequences and this is one - the ability to select Supreme Court Justices who will sit for life. Look at the ages of Obama's picks - 55 and 61. They are not going anywhere for years.
Abortion, gay marriage, assaults upon Christianity... and we dare to sing God Bless America. Why would he bless us when we spit in his eye.
Hey you’re the man in this relationship. I made the first move. Have some chivalry for God sakes!
LOL, picky, picky.
Ankle straps make ankles look like cankles.
You just don’t know how to wear them ;)
*RASPBERRY SOUND*
I’m a lot more chivalrous with shock boots.
If you want romance, that’s a roll bar. The real kind.
If you want any of this done with a good attitude, there will be KC lights.
You figured I was some cheap little bitch?
BWAAHAAAHAAHAAHAAAA!
Well you ARE in Texas....
Ducks and runs) ;)
With the smiley yellow covers that are a pain to get out and remove.
Boom.
Well, I have looked for them and not found them. Would be very interested in seeing such a list. Could you please direct me to it?
Whatever you say. Enjoy the remainder of Obama’s Reign.
I don’t know the list, but there are areas in which Romney was to the left of democrats like Ted Kennedy and Obama and Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton, and Al Gore, etc, and it took years for them to catch up to him on.
Occasionally I do some paid and some pro bono legal work for CONSERVATIVE groups, but not for Republican groups.
Some work for Republican (political) groups is reportable to FEC. Work for Conservative (a philosophy, not a political party) groups, does not require FEC report.
I like that much more!
People change opinions. Reagan for example.
Some claim there is such a list and they depended on it in deciding who to vote for. I’d love to see such list, if it exists.
-—”You never served a day, and you are attacking Reagan for his 9 years of military service, after first claiming that he never served at all?”
Wow, now you’re accusing me of ATTACKING Reagan for his 9 years of military service!!!??
You’ve completely lost it.
I NEVER attacked Reagan. Rather I used him as an example of an EXCELLENT PRESIDENT who didn’t (serve/fight) in the military. I wasn’t clear in my writing and should have said “fought in the military.” I graciously apologized for that. You, my friend, have no manners.
Re-read my post that triggered your emotional outburst and you will see what I mean. Apologies accepted graciously.
It’s a shame that we have this kind of illogic amongst otherwise rational conservatives.
P.S. You still didn’t produce a link about Reagan’s retinal detachment. I NEVER said he was “faking anything.” Those are your words not mine. Again, please don’t deviously twist my words like a liberal does... you’re embarrassing yourself.
Unlike you, I won’t jump at the opportunity to call you a liar and a troll because I believe you made an honest mistake stemming from your poor showing in your “Reading Comprehension 101” class.
For some reason Reagan got excused from fighting overseas. Maybe the “powers that be” deemed him too valuable to fight and better suited for making military promotional films... I don’t have the answer to that. In any case, I’m glad he didn’t get killed in WWII.
Suppisedly the Obama fans here have a list showing Obama is more conservative than Romney!
I would love to see that list! :)
I know that Reagan voted for FDR and then Truman in 1948 as a democrat, but that was the last time that he voted for a democrat president, Reagan campaigned for Ike in 1952 and 1956, and then for Nixon in 1960, but what does that have to do with Romney?
Did you bring him up because Romney left the GOP because of Reagan, and eventually became a democrat donor, fund raiser, and voter, and not reregistering republican until October of 1993 to run as a pro-abortion, pro-gays in the military, pro-gay Scout leaders, anti-gun candidate for Senator, who said that Ted Kennedy was too conservative on gay issues?
And furthermore, with your relentless “How many years were you in the military” prompts, you are also using the same illogic that liberals do about abortion.
They whine that “Men have never been pregnant, had an abortion or borne children, so they have no right to weigh in on abortion issues” — as if one can only understand something if they personally experience it. How flawed!
But alas, your thinking is similar: You seem to think if I never served, I am completely disqualified to discuss issues of military service as a qualifier for the Presidency.
Wow, such primitive tribal thinking...
I think you know I’m right on this, but you’re just being stubborn.
Nope, not a Republican site. I despise bland Republicans as much as you probably do. At this point we’re just struggling to keep the ship from sinking before we can get to shore. You don’t think it’s sinking and I still think we can return to the Reagan years in a single election.
I view that position as naive, given the demographics and the brainwashing. It’ll be a slow process.
Whoops typo. Meant to say: You don’t think it’s sinking and YOU still think we can return to the Reagan years in a single election.
-—”Supposedly the Obama fans here have a list showing Obama is more conservative than Romney!”
Good one!
That would be a stretch, ESPECIALLY on Foreign Policy and Economic Policy.
I guess everyone here is in a bad mood about the SCOTUS decisions of the past 2 days. Tough days for sure. I’m so pissed.
Reagan managed to get into the military, and then stay in the Army, but his extreme nearsightedness kept him from combat.
“”Following the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, Reagan interrupted his acting career and on April 19, 1942, went on active duty. This was not achieved without some difficulty because when Reagan took his first physical exam, he was not accepted for active duty due to eyesight difficulties. His persistence finally triumphed and he was given another exam, which he passed. He was classified for limited service only, which permanently denied to him his ambition of serving overseas. His first assignment was at the San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Fort Mason, Calif., as Liaison Officer of the Port and Transportation Office.””
You want to keep mocking that medical problem and implying he was dodging something during his 9 years of military service that you didn’t know about, as you lied about being his friend, and were defending The draft dodging son of the anti-war presidential candidate of 1968, from a family that has never produced a man to serve America in uniform during its entire 173 year history here, and whose own sons also refused to serve in the military while their dad ran to be Commander in chief during war time, and Mitt has wanted to homosexualize the military for decades.?
I don’t know why you would want to attack veterans for no seeing combat, since most never do, and you have never even served at all.
But you were.
“Might I remind you that my friend Ronald Reagan ALSO DIDNT SERVE IN THE MILITARY either (I visited him in his office once).”
“Are you also going to criticize the venerable Ronald Reagan for his lack of military service?”
