Well this article is more of the same as usual from Politico, but the title makes a good point.

Trump is facing opposition from the establishment GOP, from democrats, and on this board from supporters of his opponents.

Keep on speaking up Trump.

Only guy in the GOP field who seems to grasp that 2016 is gonna be all about economic populism.

The beltway GOP made their bed by sleeping with the kenyan. Now they need to lay in it.

Trump has been in business long enough to know that if he wants to be on that debate stage, he has to do something outrageous to draw on a nascent populist support base in the GOP. He’s not going to get evangelicals, or catholics, or country club republicans for a base. He has to create his own support base and build off it. Which is what he’s been doing in the real estate business for years. Not a fan of the guy, but respect what he’s bringing to the table— red meat American can-do attitude.

“will damage the eventual nominee and hurt a party struggling to connect with women and minorities and desperate to win.”

“...connect with...minorities”

As Ann Coulter would say, Republicans should focus on their base, not democrat voters.

Good! Look at all the crappy RINO Rot the GOP brought us. Their ilk is everywhere.....House, Senate, SCOTUS.
I’ve learned if you want a conservative their record must be solid. Rarely have I seen a RINO Rot be conservative after just saying they will be. Time and time again they lie. Election 2014 is testimony to that. We listened to the GOP tell us they they will be the referendum on Obama if we just help them regain the Senate, and expand in the house. GOP wins and then they go back to RINO Rot.

1. Trump is NOT for H-1B foreign workers taking American jobs.

2. Trump doesn’t insult America by saying America needs dirt-world foreigners to do technical jobs because Americans are too stupid to do them.

3. Trump believes trade deals must be both ways. Japan demands America sell Japanese cars but refuses to allow American imports into Japan.

4. Trump believes American should win, not lose, in trade deals.

5. Trump believes Americans working is better than ‘American’ companies sending all work to foreign workers.

6. Trump believes in Americans first, not corporations first.

““Republicans in a primary don’t like to see the candidates attacking each other,” said Peter Feaman, an RNC National Committeeman from Florida. “

Funny....they were ok with it when it was Romney doing the trashing 2012.

I don’t like Trump, but his descriptions of the other candidates have been accurate.

I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the GOPe with their panties in a wad and whining.

People enjoying that alone might carry Trump pretty far. Ha ha

7. Trump knows that Americans not working means less money in American and therefore less money to buy things.

8. Trump knows an American economy must have American productivity, not foreign productivity.

An old school Democrat would be patriotic and possibly a fiscal conservative. It is the current Democrats and GOP giving all the troubles these days.

Say what you want about Donald Trump, but I like the fact that he’s not backing down from the head of Univision over his remarks about illegal aliens. Any other Republican would be apologizing profusely by now and begging for forgiveness (and of course, no amount of apology would be considered sufficient by the left.)

Yup.

Donald Trump: We Need A Health Care System Like What Canada Has (2011)

“We must have universal healthcare,” wrote Trump. “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one. We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses.”

“Trump bump terrifies GOP”

It SHOULD!

His candidacy IN ITSELF is a weather vane that says.... “Forget the MSM bulls*&t...America has HAD IT with Obama’s dangerous experiment in Communism!”
