Our little one Petey, and our eleven year old Tiggy look a lot like Tara. I do believe it runs in the blood of those tiggerish looking cats to be aggressive in the defense of their peoples. I believe either one of the two would have made a grinder out of that dog had they been there.

The only thing missing is the yelping of the dog. Sticking you hand in the fan is possibly less painful.

As a dog lover, I applaud the cat. I will give it it’s due. It really did save this little guy from this dog.
It was probably acting out because it had a strong sense of territory. Hopefully people don’t ever expect this cat, or any other, to ever do it again. It was an anomaly.

Love the editing of the scratched out of the word "Dog" and substituted word "Cat" on the award! "This is a dog license with 'dog' crossed off and 'cat' written in in crayon!"

Never underestimate the power of a Basset to do the most bizzarre and seemingly impossible things.
The ones I have had just left me scratching my head daily. Then they look at you with the “So? Something wrong?” look. They are God’s regenge on mankind. ;)
